On a sq km basis and $ to kg per tonne ratio. Yup.
N.W.T. has diamonds!

You NEVER increase taxes during a down turn and you NEVER yank the social safety net.. NEVER NEVER EVER.
0% of 0 is what? 0?
Great idea.

That's just bunk talking points from Wall Street.
Reagan and Clinton both, raised taxes during recessions, and the US recovered with job creation to boot. If people, and not investors have confidence in an economy, then they will spend their money. The US economy depends to a large degree on consumer spending...economists are rarely so grounded as to acknowledge this, or history for that matter. It seems it's only important these days if investors are spending and are confident...
A young whippersnapper like you should listen to his elders, namely Petros.
It never worked for Clinton and Reagan. Where did you get that idea?Yeah...it worked for Clinton and Reagan. Greece and Ireland have zero corporate income tax rates...
Let's compare the US tax rate to other nations, to see where they stack up against other more robust economies at the moment, tax revenue as a percent of GDP:

There's room to maneuver.
Knock off the ageist crap JLM. If you can't contribute to the discussion then butt out. You know the old adage, about wise men and fools, and who speaks in what circumstances? Pointing out that Petros is older isn't wise...

That appears to be income tax, only, not total taxes. Unless the whole kit and caboodle is being compared, there is no use in comparing any of it.
I clearly said "tax revenue as a percent of GDP"...not just income tax.
The end is near for Harper too. From recent news it would seem that he has his nose really close to someone's ass.

Ocean Breeze; :-P gosh said:Not so fast, it's only a matter worth discussing if ALL taxes are shown. Case in point, lots of people praise Oregon for having no sales tax, but I didn't know until I talked to an Oregonian that their property taxes are draconian.
