Why are you ignoring it as some anti-American rhetoric? This is what truly happened. This is reality. This is American foreign policy in action, and don't think it's any different today than it was then. Maybe you approve of this?

And how does the fact that this inquiry is a Presidential one, and available to the general public in the States, as a matter of public record, play into your claim Americans don't know about it?

Many things are public... a map for instance. Yet many Americans couldn't locate Europe.

Guatemalan officials only took part because many details were withheld from them by the Americans.

Dr. Thomas Parran, Jr., the U.S. Surgeon General at the time of the experiments, acknowledged that the Guatemalan work could not be done domestically, and details were hidden from Guatemalan officials. [4] [5]
