no..
The parliament buildings are probably infected with mold. They are old and mold tends to make people sick and may cause brain rot. They all tend to act the same so it may be the buildings.. or it may be that only childish Cretans want to run for office. Doesn't say a lot for us , we keep voting them into office. Maybe Canadians find that sort of thing entertaining and it does keep them off the streets..I agree.
Have any of you ever heard the whooping and hollering(heckling and booing for example) that goes on in the various House Of Commons meetings? They act like petulant children for crying out loud! And these are supposed to be our elected representatives? Sheesh!

A coalition that includes in any way the BQ would be a disaster.....
BUT
It is fear mongering now, I actually agree.
Since the Count counted his chances and discounted the coalition, you can count me out on any discussion of the coalition.
I'll take him at his word.
If he lies, and enters into a deal with the BQ, there will be a pitchfork rebellion in this country.
Count on it.
That is good enough for me.
He tells Perter Mansbridge that he will not address the Abortion question. Does that mean that he will leave that to his Health Minister to address as they change the law to make abortion illegal?
You gotter Unf. Those are probably his intentions. Knuckle draggin assholes.
Gotta laugh. Cons bleat on about keeping government out of the life of Canadians, and yet feel it's ok to tell a gal she can't decide what happens to her own body.
I'd sooner vote for the Bloc.
No one wants to live in your Canada. And most would likely find your national flag, offensive.
Canadian politicians sat back and watched the "gay marriage" issue work its way through the courts, only becoming involved after it was a "fait accompli."He tells Perter Mansbridge that he will not address the Abortion question. Why would one expect their approach to abortion to be any different?
Because abortion and gay marriage are different.
I think if Harper doesn't return a majority government this election, the knives will come out for him rather than any fetus.
The cons are terrified of Iggy's eye brows .....
I think you are reading Harper wrong. He's actually the exact opposite of what his opponants are trying to make him out to be.Harper may want to ban abortion and gay marriage but the courts will rule him out of order. He may be evil but not stupid. He values his own grandiose image of grand high leader more than his convictions. He knows to push his views would be political suicide.

He won't address the issues of abortion and gay marriage because he believes in choices.
He's not the average politician: he doesn't go about grinning like a chessire cat, kissing babies and slapping backs, he just calmly states what he believes in. Most people can't accept a reasonable approach by a politician. They want charm, charisma and idealistic promises.
This isn't a popularity contest, folks! Whether you like Harper or not, he does a good job and that's what counts.
