I was watching a debate last night where one of the speakers mentioned, somewhat in passing, the possibility of our universe being a simulation. He said it's possible that in the future, technology will advance to a point where we can conduct computer simulations of the universe, complete with billions of sentient AI simulating people. If this is possible, then that would mean there could be far more simulated universes than real ones (there would be just one real universe), so if you found yourself roaming around and living in a universe (as we find ourselves now) you are more likely to be in a simulation than in the real deal. And even those running simulations in their universe would never really be sure they aren't a simulation either.
So to me, intelligent design means the matrix. Now, if only I knew kung fu.
