Yeah well Obama.. cough. At first I didn't like him.. he's a great politician just not a leader...

But after the last election and the Tea Baggers got the senate, I will vote for Obama over some teabagging "racist redneck."

No problem Ron, but I appear to be Cannuck's new target, and you know how much I love being a target.

He even gave me a new nic!!! I'm now Joey II.

No one needs (or deserves) that "albatross".

I am a great fan of John McCain. I believe he should have been elected President, and I increasingly believe Obama is little more than an empty suit.

Although I do not share some peoples' loathing for the man.

And although McCain does seem increasingly marginalized in the disasterously polarizing political atmosphere of the USA........it is slightly....disengenuous to doubt his "Republican" label after a majority of party members country-wide elected him as their candidate for the highest office....only 3 years ago.

As they should have.

Read please, the Second Amendment to the Constitution of the United States.

Yeah, McCain sure as hell proved himself as far as being able to stand up to adversity and he has a lot of bureaucratic experience, but the problem is his mouth- when you take a peek inside.

Right now Obama looks like one of the few sensible and moderate politicians south of the 49.

Nope,
remember this is the same Obama that has connections to Bill Ayers and Jeremiah Wright.

Just like Hitler was such a "swell politician" (like Obama) until the enabling acts.

Not to forget the connections to George Soros who broke the bank of England and would love to do the same to the US;-)

I think it's pretty outrageous that Barack Obama is being compared, here, to Adolf Hitler.

I am hoping that you would show as much outrage towards Gopher who has been rabid in comparing Busch to Hitler almost every day since he came on this forum in 2005;-)....Maybe it occurs so often now that we don't even notice:lol:

It really is unfair to compare Bush to Hitler - Cheney maybe, but not Bush. Cheney was the puppet master, Bush was just the ventriloquist's dummy.

I just finished watching an interview with the sheriff in the case and while I realise that sheriffs in the US are elected under a political banner, but I found that sheriff to be totally unprofessional in playing the political card in the middle of a criminal investigation.
Thankfully he is not in charge because he might decide to arrest every right wing radio host in the US.

It's pretty hard to expect people in a forum to not bring politics into it, when the sheriff can't refrain.
F.B.I. is in charge, all the others are observers.

Not true, Obama recently called Republicans the Enemy so if a Republican politician is gunned down then he's to blame just as Palin and the Tea Party are to blame according to the Left's rhetoric.

Would it be fair if there was a WII game called shoot Sarah Palin?

This is Palin campaign ad:

See how it says ''remove Giffords from office Shoot fully automatic M16''. Anybody else would have been charged with making terrorist threats.

'' I believe he [McCain] should have been elected President''

Are you sure about that considering his VP choice? ^

And I don't think Gopher was the only one. Can't remember if S.J.P. was guilty of that but next thing to it for sure.

What baloney.

Shoot. I am disgusted at this entire argument. You guys have completely misfired, and I aim to kill off your argument lock, stock, and barrel. You have made yourselves an easy target, and have given me enough ammo to blow you right out of the water. Like shooting fish in a barrel.

Get my point?? Here is a little help.

IT'S THE ENGLISH LANGUAGE! It is full of firearms references that are NOT in anyway intended as a call to arms, nor can they be interpreted that way by anyone in this dimension.......which this guy was NOT.

I think Sara Palin is a bit of a joke, but these accusations and innuendo are completely out of line, and (I dare say) would not be AIMED at anyone else, and certainly no Democrat would be TARGETED in this way.

Can we just blame the guy that did the shooting?

Palin is guilty of this regardless of whether anyone actually shoots anyone. Her media campaign advocates it.

You two do realize you are making complete fools of yourselves, don't you?

These accusations are not only ludicrous and in such poor taste, they are not helpful in a political environment that is becoming far too polarized.

Well I don't mind if the death toll doubled as long as we can take up cheering positions and root root root for our own team. Let's remember folks, it's not the psycho who killed 6 people a child included, it's managing to get another potshot in at "them" for "us". Let's try and keep what is important in perspective here. If you can't do that, maybe you just don't need to ride the toboggan today.

Come on, that is nutty nonsense that gets people like Loughner to be anti-government killers.

I think a lot of people owe Sarah Palin an apology.

Okay, here goes.

Sarah, I'm sorry that you're good looking, not very bright, with extremely poor taste in men. I'm also sorry that you're being used as the pin up girl for wacko politicians. You deserve better. Like maybe a nice massage by candle light. Give me a call.

Yesterday I caught some talking heads chatting about how her Republican opponent held a political rally at a rifle range during their election campaign.
