Sarah Palin is the smartest person on the political scene. As an unelected entity, she reports to no one, has no accountability and can go as rogue as she chooses while the duped media continue to speculate on her presidential intentions in order to fill airtime and print space. Here is a woman who quit being governor, obviously because she really does not want to govern. And why would she, when she makes a fortune in the private sector, gets all the attention she craves, manipulates the mindless media and laughs back at the people laughing at her? She has carved out the best of all worlds for herself and never would she subject herself to the chains of a presidency. And some people think she's stupid.

Actually, I was in Myrtle Beach, South Carolina, for a glorious week of golf. Weather was perfect - 75F or more, sunny skies all week - buffets well stocked, hot tubs just the right temperature, sea gulls on the beach hungry as ever (I always feed them at least one loaf on day old bread) and my golf scores about the same as ever.
Also, I had a chance to talk to lots of Americans. To those who think that I am an Obama hater, rest assured, that I only echo what I hear from them. Same about Sarah Palin.
