Sorry Tonn....but yawn....:p

My thoughts were of geology watching it. It could be condensed to move faster, but on the geologic time scale, in a million years when all the sediment has built up, there will be isotopic evidence around the world of our prolific weapon testing. In a layer of what used to be soil.

your worried about the geology? I think mabye the westerlies taking those radioactive isotopes from the western states east would be of more concern........ Than some bedding, sure it would make a great marker for the cenozoic Era but meh....

care the elaborate gerryh?

as you can see the westerlies blow to the east, so i dont know why gerryh is rolling his eyes.... When chernobyl blew its top, radioactive isotopes went where the wind took them

show me

gerryh you are confusing me i dont know where my comprehension skills are lacking.....

The westerlies blow in the ranges from 35 degrees to 65 degrees.... TO THE EAST.... Some of those areas not all in america that had bomb droppings lie within that range... So it was a valid point...

For example the northern border of new mexico is at 37 degrees with colorado, and the 35th cuts through those weapons testing areas pretty cleanly.....

I didn't see Ton mention being concerned about a damn thing. Only thing he said was he had thought of the testing on a geological scale and what evidence of that testing there would be even after a million years.

I'm not worried about the geology, that's just what popped into my head while watching it. A lot of radioactive isotopes in a short interval. Kinda like how they find the volcanic ash in the soil horizon.
