Yeah, eh? It really makes me wonder how bad it had to be to make Hamas look like the better choice?
Start at '67 and the next 20 years was basically the same.

Oh, guess what?

The Israelis tried to deliver a portion of the cargo that had passed inspection........but delivery was refused.....by HAMAS!!! :)

Oh the poor Palestinians suffering must continue......
Do you ever tell the truth in full? LOL
(in part)
Hamas refused on Wednesday to allow the aid equipment that was captured by the IDF aboard the flotilla ships earlier this week to enter the Gaza Strip.

"We refuse to receive the humanitarian aid until all those who were detained aboard the ships are released," said Ahmed Kurd, Minister for Social Welfare in the Hamas government said. "We also insist that the equipment be delivered in its entirety."

Kurd said that Israel's decision to allow a number of wheelchairs to be delivered to the Gaza Strip was a "deception," claiming that the batteries that operate them had been removed, making them useless.

The Hamas minister said that Israel's decision to send some of the aid that was seized aboard the ships to the Gaza Strip was designed to divert attention from the "massacre" that took place in the sea.

Calling for lifting the blockade on the Gaza Strip, Kurd welcomed Egypt's decision to reopen the Rafah border crossing. He expressed hope that the terminal would remain opened on a permanent basis.

This tank.

As you keep proving.

He's not up on the tank pictures eh.

It's funny how easy it is to slip aid into Israeli, by the billions, by the thousand ton chunks. And right next door in the partner for peaces back yard you can't get drinking water or a roof or medicine for your kids all because you democratically elected your government and you have the courage to insist that you'll do it again.

FACTS: Its Palestinian Land. Israel is the occupier, palestinians the occupied. Israel is the ethnic cleanser, palestinians the ethnically cleansed. Israel is the Oppressor, palestinians the oppressed.

FACT: It occurred in International waters

FACT: A number of martyr-seeking fanatics ran a naval blockade. Only a certified retard would voluntarily put themselves directly into this position and later b*tch about being treated better than they should have actually been treated.

The MV Rachel Corrie and another ship are due to deliver food and medicine to hungry and sick Gazans on Saturday if they can make it past Israeli pirates.

All the videos I've seen indicate that activists possessed only weapons of opportunity, indicating they didn't plan to fight Israeli pirates. The most likely sequence of events is that Israeli pirates fired on the activists first with tear gas and rubber bullets. When they boarded the ship and tried to lay a beating on the activists like they did on the smaller boats, they encountered a large angry mob armed with weapons of opportunity. Sometime after the Israeli pirates started getting their asses kicked and activists seized Israeli pirate firearms, Israeli pirates resorted to lethal force to prevent a humiliating hiding, resulting in a senseless slaughter.

World Reaction:

Malaysia:
"It Was Pure Hell"

KUALA LUMPUR::
Three days after the horrific raid on the Freedom Flotilla by Israeli commandos, the 12 Malaysians who were on board the aid ship MV Mavi Marmara were freed yesterday.

And hours after arriving in Jordan from a prison in Israel, the two-man news crew from Astro Awani recounted how they had stared death in their face.

In a telephone interview from his room at the Crowne Plaza Hotel in Amman, journalist Ashwad Ismail said he thought “this was it” as he stared up the barrel of a gun.

"For some reason, after shooting the two Turkish activists I was interviewing, the commandos trained their guns at me, but did not open fire.

I crawled through a pool of blood, and went down to the lower deck from where I heard more gunfire and screams coming from above,” the 24-year-old said.

The attack began just after 4am on Monday but hours before that, the 600-odd activists suspected trouble was looming as the Israeli Navy had began to surround the ship.

Ashwad claimed there were four ships, 19 boats and three Apache helicopters that were circling their ship.

“And when they stormed the ship, it was pure hell. People were being shot without provocation. It was so easy for the Israelis. In less than an hour, they had total control of the ship,” he said.

Ashwad and the rest of the people on board were then rounded up and kept under guard while the rest of the commandos ransacked the ship for weapons and documents.

“There were no weapons. We were not armed and yet we were treated like criminals. Even criminals are not shot on sight.

“We were in international waters. How can they board our ship and open fire?”

According to reports, at least 10 people on board the Mavi Marmara were killed and dozens, including seven Israeli soldiers were injured.

A clearly upset Ashwad said the Israelis were not bothered about the injured. They were left on the ship for about 12 hours before they were taken to the navy hospital at the Ashdod Detention Camp in Israel.

The rest of the passengers were interrogated.

“They wanted to know why we were heading to Gaza.”

After questioning, the Israelis separated them into groups. No group contained nationals from one country.

They were then taken to the Beersheba prison where they were given wheat bread and vegetable soup.

“We felt like we were cut off from the world. We were defenceless and were clearly bullied.”

Ashwad is now on a mission to tell the world the cruelty of the Israeli navy.

“They attacked unarmed people who were simply going out of their way to help others. They acted like thugs.

“Now we understand the six decades of torture the Palestinians have been enduring,”

Astro Awani cameraman Shamsulkamal Latip was asleep when the raid began.

“I was on the lower deck. I heard the gunshots and screams and knew at once what was happening.

“And at that moment, I started praying. I kept thinking of my 11-year-old son, wife and other family members,” said the 44-year-old.

Both journalists knew the risks involved when they accepted the assignment but nothing prepared them for this.

Yesterday morning (11.20am Malaysian time), the 12 Malaysians were released at the King Hussein Bridge at the Israel-Jordan border.

The group, accompanied by Malaysian Ambassador to Jordan Datuk Abdul Malek Abdul Aziz, were said to be in good spirits.

Foreign Affairs Minister Datuk Seri Anifah Aman who flew to Jordan yesterday morning, thanked the Jordanian government for securing the release of the Malaysians.

The Malaysians were released with only the clothes on their backs. Their passports and mobile phones were also taken by the Israelis.

Ashwad and Shamsulkamal were part of a multinational group of activists in the Flotilla Freedom on their way to Gaza to send supplies.

Another six Malaysians are on another aid ship, the MV Rachel Corrie. They have been identified as lawyer Matthias Chang, Parit member of parliament Nizar Zakaria, activist Ahmad Faizal Azumu, TV3 journalist Halim Mohamed, TV3 crew member Jufri Junid and Shamsul Akmar Musa Kamal.

Also on board are former United Nations assistant secretary-general and advisory panel member of the Perdana Global Peace Organisation Denis Halliday and Nobel laureate Mairead Maguire.

The ship left Malta on Monday and is expected to be at the point of the interception either tomorrow evening or Saturday morning.

The Rachel Corrie is a converted merchant ship bought by pro-Palestinian activists and named after an American woman killed in the Gaza Strip in 2003,

It is carrying supplies sponsored by groups in Malaysia, Ireland, Scotland and Britain.

China
JERUSALEM, June 2 (Xinhua) -- Nicaragua became the first state to suspend diplomatic ties with Israel in the wake of the Israeli interception of a flotilla making its way to the Gaza Strip, which resulted in the deaths of at least nine of those on board.
Turkey has also warned that it is seriously considering the future of its relationship with the Jewish state. Ankara gave strong support to the vessel that headed the flotilla, which was boarded by Israeli forces on Monday. Four of those killed were Turks and a large percentage of those arrested hailed from Turkey.
Others considering taking some form of diplomatic action include Dublin, which is watching the situation closely as an Irish ship, the Rachel Corrie, heads for Gaza in a bid to breach the Israeli blockade on the Palestinian coastal enclave.
Israeli analysts told Xinhua on Wednesday that the actions of the international community thus far could well prove to be the tip of the iceberg.
IN DEEP WATER
The extent of Israel's problems became clear when the Americans refused to veto a condemnation of Israel at the United Nations Security Council. The United States did succeed in watering down the wording though.
The fallout from the maritime operation has derailed the recent improvement in ties between U.S. President Barack Obama and Israeli Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu, according to Gilbert N. Kahn, a professor of political science at Kean University in New Jersey.
"The U.S.-Israeli relationship, which had been seriously strained following the Jerusalem settlement controversy that had erupted during the visit to Israel by (U.S.) Vice President Joe Biden in March was improving," he said.
Now, even the recently launched indirect peace talks between Israel and the Palestinians look to be on ice.
Netanyahu had hoped to meet Obama this week but called off his visit to the White House in order to douse the flames back at home.
"Obama could not have been very happy with Netanyahu cancelling his meeting. I'm pretty sure that Obama had some very strong and decisive words to say to Netanyahu," said Gershon Baskin, the Israeli chief executive and founder of the Israel-Palestine Center for Research and Information.
The knock-on effects from the flotilla episode will not just be felt in relations with the United States but in Israel's dealings with many countries, experts predict.
Qatar in the Gulf does not have official diplomatic ties with Israel but there is a quiet relationship. That is expected to be damaged in the wake of the affair.
Baskin can also see a situation whereby some African states, with which Israel has invested much time and effort to build a bond, will decide to cool relations or suspend them for the time being.
Gerald Steinberg, a professor of political science at Bar-Ilan University, prefers not to predict which nations may choose to sever ties with Israel but adopts a generally pessimistic attitude regarding Israel's current standing in the club of nations.
"This has the narrative that Israel is guilty and that Palestinians are victims. On that basis this could definitely mushroom," Steinberg said on Wednesday.

Re: How About Keeping The Rest Of Us Safe From Israel?

Nothing untrue about that video, it's right on.

If Palestinians laid down their arms there would be peace.
If Israel laid down their arms there would be genocide.

This is obviously the trick of Zionists: let Palestinians lay down their arms, and the Israeli keep their arms; what an equation

Not like this, pooh.
If Israeli lay down their arms (the thing that they will never do) I give you guarantee peace and prosperity will take place in the region and in the entire world as a whole. :faroah:

This isn't the work of Israel but that of the 50 million death cult followers who are using the Jews to fulfill their own warped and twisted version of bible prophecy.

Their selfish beliefs include pitting the Muzzie against the Jew so Jesus can come and lead the US army to kill both off leaving Christianity as the only world religion.

God does not agree about the state of Israel in Palestine

Before the coming of Zionists to Palestine, Jews in the Arab countries, like Iraq for example, lived in prosperity like kings: rich and in a good welfare; similarly in Palestine there were Jews: citizens: Palestinians, in addition to Jews, Christians and Muslims living as neighbors and freinds. Jews were usually rich in general.

When Zionists came, Jews living in some Muslim countries were unwilling to leave their good livelihood; but the situations: political and some parties and organizations helped the Zionists to reach their goal of making much immigration of Jews to Palestine.

Before that Zionists and rich Jews worked to use their wealth to help their purpose.

So Jews now are not commanded by God neither by any prophet or apostle to come to Palestine; but the political organizations and parties of Zionists commanded such immigration and the establishment of their state of Israel;

and Israel (Jacob) himself does not agree about such Israel state in Palestine: I swear to you he refuses this act of the Zionists. Because Israel is a servant of God: how will he agree about a thing not commanded by God?

America’s Complicity in Evil

By Paul Craig Roberts June 2, 2010

As I write at 5pm on Monday, May 31, all day has passed since the early morning reports of the Israeli commando attack on the unarmed ships carrying humanitarian aid to Gaza, and there has been no response from President Obama except to say that he needed to learn "all the facts about this morning’s tragic events" and that Israeli prime minister Netanyahu had canceled his plans to meet with him at the White House.

Thus has Obama made America complicit once again in Israel’s barbaric war crimes.

Just as the US Congress voted to deep-six Judge Goldstone’s report on Israel’s war crimes committed in Israel’s January 2009 invasion of Gaza, Obama has deep-sixed Israel’s latest act of barbarism by pretending that he doesn’t know what has happened.

No one in the world will believe that Israel attacked ships in international waters carrying Israeli citizens, a Nobel Laureate, elected politicians, and noted humanitarians bringing medicines and building materials to Palestinians in Gaza, who have been living in the rubble of their homes without repairs or medicines since January 2009, without first clearing the crime with its American protector.

Without America’s protection, Israel, a totally artificial state, could not exist.

No one in the world will believe that America’s spy apparatus did not detect the movement of the Israeli attack force toward the aid ships in international waters in an act of piracy, killing 20, wounding 50, and kidnapping the rest.
Obama’s pretense at ignorance confirms his complicity.

Once again, the US government has permitted the Israeli state to murder good people known for their moral conscience. The Israeli state has declared that anyone with a moral conscience is an enemy of Israel, and every American president except Eisenhower and Carter has agreed.

Obama’s 12-hour silence in the face of extreme barbarity is his signal to the controlled corporate media to remain on the sidelines until Israeli propaganda sets the story.

The Israeli story, preposterous as always, is that the humanitarians on one of the ships took two pistols from Israeli commandos, highly trained troops armed with automatic weapons, and fired on the attack force. The Israeli government claims that the commandos’ response (70 casualties at last reporting) was justified self-defense. Israel was innocent. Israel did not do anything except drop commandos aboard from helicopters in order to intercept an arms shipment to Gazans being brought in by ships manned by terrorists.

Many Christian evangelicals, brainwashed by their pastors that it is God’s will for Americans to protect Israel, will believe the Israeli story, especially when it is unlikely they will ever hear any other. Conservative Americans, especially on Memorial Day when they are celebrating feats of American arms, will admire Israel for its toughness.

Here in north Georgia, where I am at the moment, I have heard several say, admiringly, "Them Israelis, they don’t put up with nuthin’."

Conservative Americans want the US to be like Israel. They do not understand why the US doesn’t stop pissing around after nine years and just go ahead and defeat the Taliban in Afghanistan. They don’t understand why the US didn’t defeat whoever was opposing American forces in Iraq. Conservatives are incensed that America had to "win" the war by buying off the Iraqis and putting them on the US payroll.

Israel murders people and then blames its victims. This appeals to American conservatives, who want the US to do the same.

It is likely that Americans will accept Israeli propagandist Mark Regev’s story that Israelis were met by deadly fire when they tried to intercept an arms shipment to Palestinian terrorists from IHH, a radical Turkish Islamist organization hiding under the cover of humanitarian aid. This explanation is crafted to allow Americans to sink back into their stupor.

Americans will never hear from the US media that Turkey’s prime minister Erdogan declared that the aid ships were carefully inspected before departure from Turkey and that there were no terrorists or arms aboard:
"I want to say to the world, to the heads of state and the governments, that these boats that left from Turkey and other countries were checked in a strict way under the framework of the rules of international navigation and were only loaded with humanitarian aid."

Turkey is a US ally, a member of NATO. Turkey’s cooperation is important to American’s plan for world hegemony. Turkey now realizes that the Israeli state is comprised of total evil. Erdogan must wonder about the morality of Israel’s American protector. According to a report in Antiwar.com, the Turkish government declared that "future aid ships will be dispatched with a military escort so as to prevent future Israeli attacks."

Will the CIA assassinate Erdogan or pay the Turkish military to overthrow him?
Murat Mercan, head of Turkey’s foreign relations committee, said that Israel’s claim that there were terrorists aboard the aid ships was Israel’s way of covering up its crime. Mercan declared:
"Any allegation that the members of this ship is attached to al-Qaeda is a big lie because there are Israeli civilians, Israeli authorities, Israeli parliamentarians on board the ship."

The criminal Israeli state does not deny its act of piracy. Israeli military spokeswoman Avital Leibovich confirmed that the attack took place in international waters: "This happened in waters outside of Israeli territory, but we have the right to defend ourselves."

Americans, and their Western European puppet states and the puppet state in Canada, will be persuaded by the servile media to buy the story fabricated by Israeli propaganda that the humanitarian aid ships were manned by terrorists bringing weapons to the Palestinians in Gaza, and that the terrorists posing as humanitarians attacked the force of Israeli commandos with two pistols, clubs, and knives.

The ignorant Americans will swallow this story without a hiccup.

Before there was an Israel, an inexperienced crew of young Americans climbed aboard a rusted American ferryboat and set out from Philadelphia to transport thousands of Jewish Holocaust survivors past the British blockade of Palestine. Other ships had tried it. But this ship, which would come to be known as the Exodus 1947, was the one that helped shape the political landscape of the Middle East. At the helm was "Big Bill" Millman, a 19-year-old Navy boxing champ. Frank Lavine, part of the deck crew, was 22 and completely unprepared for the kind of battle he would face against the British Marines. And in the engine room, an electrician named Nat Nadler helped keep the boilers lit, never imagining that he was about to participate in the birth of a nation. This is their story.

There were atleast two ships that claimed U.S. registry, I have very little sympathy for them or their crews also. I do not believe in private activism, that is what criminals do. As for the Exodus, people like winners.

Now that is a true and simple solution to the problem. Wonder why the Palestinians could not bring themselves to do it.

There is no reason to keep us safe from Israel, for it they who have been protecting us all these years.

I love the bit about slavery, mind you - considering that Hamas has called for the eradication of Israel, I suppose that you believe that all Israelis should meekly and in an orderly fashion march to a Palestinian, Hamas approved field to be stoned to death?... Or would that make them slaves?

I do know that some of the people trying to run the Israeli blockade were being tricked/used by Hamas terrorist who were on the boat to incite violence if and when Israel stopped them.

Captured video of assault used to back up Israeli version. We have seen this video on prior posts.

JERUSALEM (AP) — Israel's army has been using confiscated videos to justify its deadly raid against a Gaza-bound aid flotilla, and the Foreign Press Association wants it to stop.

The organization, which represents hundreds of journalists in Israel and the Palestinian territories, says the military seized video and equipment from dozens of reporters on board the main ship.

The FPA demanded Thursday that the military stop using the captured material without permission and identify the source of the video already released. The material appeared Wednesday on the army's YouTube site labeled as "captured."

Before you start zi-ing the Israelis take a hard look at the rest of the Middle East & tell me objectively why you shouldn't include the Palestinians, Saudis, Syrians, Eygptians etc in the zi-ing. To my mind the others I indentified are unfathomably worse than Israel could ever be.
