Re: Psycopaths United for Israel

And yet another thread about Israel. Beaver's been avoiding the poplar patch and gotten into the pot patch again.

Lester Lester Lester, popular does not mean pertinent. Perhaps my affection for cannabis explains my shortcomings. Yours remain inexplicable. Israel is the single most popular subject in the main stream media and that has been the desired result of Zionist ownership of that media. Not a minute of air time is missed to plug the insane mission of the evil Zionists.

srael 'attacks' Gaza aid fleet

Tags:
Israeli forces have attacked a flotilla of aid-carrying ships aiming to break the country's siege on Gaza, according to a Turkish aid agency being quoted by Turkish media.
At least two people were killed and more than 30 people injured, the report said early on Monday.
Footage from the flotilla's lead vessel, the Mavi Marmara, appeared to show armed Israeli soldiers boarding the ship and helicopters flying overhead.

Webmaster's Commentary:
The aid convoy was in international waters. At the very least Israel's actions constitute piracy. At worst they are acts of war against the nations whose flags a flown by the ships.

Funny, if you read ALL the news reports on this, there's so much spin, the truth is almost lost.

First of all, the organizers were repeatedly warned that the ships would be stopped and inspected.

They chose to ignore the early warnings, before the ships even set sail.

They were hailed and told to stop and prepare to be boarded.

They refused.

Then they were boarded by force, where the Israeli Navy was met with axes, pipes and limited gun fire.

They responded likewise.

The Israeli's have impounded the ships, and detained the passengers for deportation. They have also stated that the aid will be allowed to go on, once the ships are searched for weapons and munitions.

Had the organizers and their supporters not tried to be dicks, this could have easily been avoided. But since the organizers only recognize and condemn the Israeli blockade, while ignoring the blockade by Egypt, it's safe to say that this is simply an antagonist move. Supported by morons and defended by like minded idiots.

But I fully suspect that this will be lost on so many here and around the world.

Funny ? Odd choice of words to use when civilians are being killed by Israel once again.

Civilians were warned not to do it, what did they expect, a warm welcome, maybe a cup of chocolate and a clear escorted passage into Gaza? You do not get involved in a war and expect not to get hurt. They are the fools, and by putting themselves in that position became combatants. not innocent civilians..

Apparently you have yet to read or watch anything available about that aspect of the issue. This is to make the issue one that will be looked at by the world and put into question the legality of the blockade. Gaza is open to international waters, Israel has no legal right to detain any ships from docking in Gaza. That is what the issue is about.
You should know that by the way JFK went about blockading only missile components and nothing else. Today Israel decides how much the people in Gaza get to eat, not only the men but for women and children also.

The full list would be an interesting read, hard to thing Israel has the right to kill people to stop them from delivering items such as toilet paper.

Who me? , I also have condemned the killing of all the Arabs in Dresden at the end of WWII.

BTW the odds are more likely it was somebody from Turkey (as in on a ship flying their flag) so that is who I am supporting. Are you classifying all Muslims as being Arabs?

A blockade historically takes place at sea, with the blockading power seeking to cut off all maritime transport from and to the blockaded country. That means no toilet paper.

Once you enter the realm of keeping 'all traffic' under your control then it becomes a matter of collective punishment. In that list of banned goods and allowed goods, not all that is asked for of the permitted goods is allowed.

Israeli forces have attacked a flotilla of aid-carrying ships aiming to break the country's siege on Gaza.
At least 19 people were killed and dozens injured when troops intercepted the convoy of ships dubbed the Freedom Flotilla early on Monday, Israeli radio reported.
The flotilla was attacked in international waters, 65km off the Gaza coast.
Avital Leibovich, an Israeli military spokeswoman, confirmed that the attack took place in international waters, saying: "This happened in waters outside of Israeli territory, but we have the right to defend ourselves."

Gaza strip is interesting. Israel is building a massive wall around that entire area, also in many areas the wall goes further in land on the Gaza strip then allowed. this effectively steals the Gazans land.

You forgot to mention the important aid for hamas like the weapons this is why the blockade is nessasary.

Besides if the people on the larger ship that they boarded did not physacally attack the soldiers nothing would have happenned

That's impossible.. Why, just this morning, a spokesman for the flotilla spoke-out (interesting how prepared she was for this "spontaneous" event) and she assured the interviewer that it was only humanitarian aid that was the cargo; first-aid, drugs, flannel pajamas, etc and there were absolutely no weapons... Presumably, the shots that were fired on the Israelis must have been the Israeli soldiers shooting at each other.

But, there you have it - the flotilla spokesman said so, therefore that must be the truth of the matter.

Could it possibly be that the worlds premier proven liars and murderers have fabricated another bull**** story?

Israeli Butchery at Sea by Gilad Atzmon

Monday, May 31, 2010 at 11:58AM Gilad Atzmon
As I write this piece the scale of the Israeli lethal slaughter at sea is yet to be clear. However we already know that at around 4am Gaza time, hundreds of IDF commandos stormed the Free Gaza international humanitarian fleet. We learn from the Arab press that at least 16 peace activists have been murdered and more than 50 were injured. Once again it is devastatingly obvious that Israel is not trying to hide its true nature: an inhuman murderous collective fuelled by a psychosis and driven by paranoia.
For days the Israeli government prepared the Israeli society for the massacre at sea. It said that the Flotilla carried weapons, it had ‘terrorists’ on board. Only yesterday evening it occurred to me that this Israeli malicious media spin was there to prepare the Israeli public for a full scale Israeli deadly military operation in international waters. Make no mistake. If I knew exactly where Israel was heading and the possible
consequences, the Israeli cabinet and military elite were fully aware of it all the way along. What happened yesterday wasn’t just a pirate terrorist attack. It was actually murder in broad day light even though it happened in the dark.
Yesterday at 10 pm I contacted Free Gaza and shared with them everything I knew. I obviously grasped that hundreds of peace activists most of them elders, had very little chance against the Israeli killing machine. I was praying all night for our brothers and sisters. At 5am GMT the news broke to the world. In international waters Israel raided an innocent international convoy of boats carrying cement, paper and medical aid to the besieged Gazans. The Israelis were using live ammunition murdering and injuring everything around them.
Today we will see demonstrations around the world, we will see many events mourning our dead. We may even see some of Israel’s friends ‘posturing’ against the slaughter. Clearly this is not enough.
The massacre that took place yesterday was a premeditated Israeli operation. Israel wanted blood because it believes that its ‘power of deterrence’ expands with the more dead it leaves behind. The Israeli decision to use hundreds of commando soldiers against civilians was taken by the Israeli cabinet together with the Israeli top military commanders. What we saw yesterday wasn’t just a failure on the ground. It was actually an institutional failure of a morbid society that a long time ago lost touch with humanity.
It is no secret that Palestinians are living in a siege for years. But it is now down to the nations to move on and mount the ultimate pressure on Israel and its citizens. Since the massacre yesterday was committed by a popular army that followed instructions given by a ‘democratically elected’ government, from now on, every Israeli should be considered as a suspicious war criminal unless proved different.
Considering the fact that Israel stormed naval vessels sailing under Irish, Turkish and Greek flags. Both NATO members and EU countries must immediately cease their relationships with Israel and close their airspace to Israeli airplanes.
Considering yesterday’s news about Israeli nuclear submarines being stationed in the Gulf, the world must react quickly and severely. Israel is now officially mad and deadly. The Jewish State is not just careless about human life, as we have been following the Israeli press campaign leading to the slaughter, Israel actually seeks pleasure in inflicting pain and devastation on others.

Were any weapons found on the aid ships? I don't mean Swiss Army knives, nail clippers, and stuff that airlines think are weapons, I mean real ones.
Didn't any of the protester types realize that Israel likes to shoot first and ask questions later? If they did, then why in their right mind would they defy Israel and not let it search the ships? IMO, defying an Israeli order to stop to be searched would be suicidal.
IOW, when dealing with an angry and hungry badger, don't try poking it with a stick,. It will eat the stick and the arm holding it. It is simply the nature of the beast.

Good grief. Some Israeli donkey in Denmark says that the Israelis thought there were links to Al Quaeda in the aid ships.
