conservative? ROFL....... Conservative is synonimous
with hypocrite. Take annie the cow as an example.
She's anti abortion but sees nothing wrong with killing
people.

Well, there is quite a difference Ger, like say, between the average fetus and Clifford OLsen the most important being, the former can't defend him/herself.

How was it inaccurate?
roflmao "Annie" isn't a cow for starters. Cows aren't nearly as funny. Figure out the rest for yourself. As far as being a hypocrite goes, so what? Everyone is in someway at some time.

so it's not alright to murder a baby(fetus), but it's ok to support the murder of anyone else that has already been born through capital punishment and war.

Let the warmonging fool have her say. Freedom of speech is our right, even if it goes against the grain sometimes.

She's scheduled to speak in right wing conservative Alberta tomorrow night. I'm sure the whack jobs will be out in full force to hear her wonderful words of wisdom. She's hot in that mini skirt though and if you look at her from a distance you can hardly notice the adams apple.

I thought the 'camel' comment was hilarious.

One could call her a peat-beating, ****less rouge, too though. Or a coolee/gavoon (as she's from noo yawk). It isn't terribly bright to point to people's heritages.

You know, given the extreme rate of recidivism among child molesters (I've seen studies saying its greater than 90%, some saying its 97%) and the effect of their crime on the young innocents they prey on, I don't have that big of an issue with killing them, but then again my view on the justice system is that its primary role is to protect society, not necessarily to rehabilitate offenders.

I can't believe people are so worked up about an idiot like Ann Coulter that its spawned a 10 page thread even with all the tangents...

Right on Wulfie- I'll be if accidental death could be arranged for these child molesters most people would go for it.

Sounds like a charming lady, full of tact and wisdom and knowing how to say just the right thing to make everyone feel like a welcome friend.

Quite so. The tragic part is, USA is full of them. Rush Limbaugh (and indeed almost any hate radio host), Joan of arc, Ann Coulter, Bachman. USA is full of these far right hate mongers. Tea baggers are their natural followers.

Indeed, that is why the political atmosphere in USA is so poisoned these days. Did you see any rational, reasonable debate on health care? I didn't. What happened was not debate, discussion, but each side calling the other side the vilest names they can think of.

I have always maintained that future for USA is dim, dismal. And not due to any outside threat, but the internal poison that many extremists have created there.

I see this thread has devolved into something akin to monkey's tossing shyte at the glass...

That;s right, allow the american bigots and racists free reign in Canadian University's. While we're at it, why don't we allow the skin heads, neo nazi's etc a public forum in our University's to spew their hate also?
Sure, why not?

As we should only counter racism with fact, we should allow these people to be open, so we can see them.

When we push back without reason, we risk pushing them underground. Where their hate can manifest without opposition. This poses a serious risk.

If this is allowed to happen, we have no way of balancing the commentary. There will be no opposition and only one side is ever heard. this is counterproductive to a free and open society.

What you suggest is not only vile, but extremely dangerous.

Any smart student worthy of being a university student would not even bother showing up for her speech unless it's as part of a study of why she's had so much influence in some circles, or to dissect her mind or something of the sort.
I could disagree more.

Any smart student would research Anne's position, develop an effective, reasoned and rational opposition and meet her head on. Without resorting to smears, violence, protest or name calling.

I'd like to trust that our university students are intelligent enough to make up their own minds. If not, then God help us all.
U of O would be a different school if our students were capable of such a thing.

Also, if our education system is sound, we should be able to dissect her arguments easily enough and come to our own decisions.
So you'ld think. But look at what happened. They just shouted loudly until someone buckled.

That is the state of our higher education. No reason, no rational, no critical thought. How sad.

here's another quote from the bitch:

"After American abortion doctor George Tiller was gunned down in church last year, Coulter was asked to condemn the killing by conservative Fox host Bill O'Reilly. She replied: "I don't really like to think of it as a murder. It was terminating Tiller in the 203rd trimester . . . I am personally opposed to shooting abortionists, but I don't want to impose my moral values on others."

Maybe someone should take her attitude and do us all a favour when it comes to her life.
Maybe you should observe the satire that that statement oozes.

That's actually quite funny, I didn't realize she was capable of that kind of humour.

I listened to the 'take a camel' clip, and when you listen to the clip, the questioner was sarcastic and flippant with her question ('What am I supposed to do, I don't have a flying carpet'), so Coulter was flippant and sarcastic with her answer 'Take a camel'.

When you step back and think about it, the response was completely appropriate to the question.

Actually, if you ignore her rhetoric, and ignorance, she has some pretty funny shyte to say.

Which is why most people view her as nothing more then an entertainer I guess.

The satire is oft palpable.

Of course I would let her in. She's broken no Canadian Laws, does not support violence against any identifiable group, does not support terrorists, has no criminal record...

She's eligible to enter the country.

Gh, I completely disagree with her position on almost every level. But she, as do you, have the right to voice it.

If we silence her, we should silence you, we should all be worried about what will come.

As for ass kissing, SCB is 100% Grade A Canadian Venison. And her's is the only ass I kiss.
