It's been a busy year, what with the spouse retiring and all that went along with that, a few trips and work. I have to say that I enjoyed that 'sabbatical' between jobs - I chatted a lot more with y'all! :lol:

Yup - I've seen it, but it always tugs at the heartstrings. My spouse did two operational tours and now a very good friend is in Kandahar for 9 months. While she is in a 'safe' job, there really is no 'safe' just varying degrees of.

There, there, Paradox. Be thankful you do not work at Canadian Tire. When I worked there many moons ago they would start the Christmas music on November freaking 1st!8O8O8O8O

They started playing it last week where I work but they have at least mixed it in with other music so we don't have a steady diet of it. It's almost a break because they have not changed the music since I started working there over 2 years ago.

Not anymore. It's December now.

Heck, I drive around the city and see many houses with their Christmas lights up(and on during the evening) now, so a thread about Christmas doesn't seem overly weird to me.:smile:
