All you need is a searchable text of the Quran, have read it at least once to know generally the kinds of claims it makes, and the knowledge of what words to search for. Allah's spreading of the earth is mentioned in 13:3, 15:9, 50:7, 51:48, 79:30, 88:20, and 91:6. Told you it was repetitive.
The motions of the sun around the earth are mentioned in 13:2, 18:86, 21:33, 35:13, and 36:40.
And now I expect you will want to look up each one of those and make a very long post explaining why they don't mean what they plainly say. Don't waste your time on that. Nobody will read it.
It is not the searchable text of the Quran; but in fact
there are some websites against the Quran, and they referred to the ambiguous ayat of the Quran; such ayat which have mysterious meaning, and they try to interpret such ayat, while they do not know their true explanation and their true meaning.
Now, these are the ayat, which some claim, that such ayat say the earth is flat, not spherical in shape: The interpretation is according to the inspired interpreter Mohammed-Ali Hassan al-Hilly:
· Quran 13: 3
وَهُوَ الَّذِي مَدَّ الأَرْضَ وَجَعَلَ فِيهَا رَوَاسِيَ وَأَنْهَارًا ...الخ
The explanation:
(And it is [God] Who supplemented the earth [with the meteorites and the celestial dust which was {and is} continuously falling on it, and which increased its mass],
and made [mountains] to land thereon,
and [made therein] rivers;
and – of every fruit – He made, there, two spouses [: male and female];
He does cover the day with the night.
All of that [indeed] includes signs to a people who contemplate.)
So here the word مَدَّ they interpret as the earth is flat, while it means to supplement.
· Quran 15: 19
وَالأَرْضَ مَدَدْنَاهَا وَأَلْقَيْنَا فِيهَا رَوَاسِيَ وَأَنبَتْنَا فِيهَا مِن كُلِّ شَيْءٍ مَّوْزُونٍ
The explanation:
(And the earth have We supplemented,
and cast on it heavily landing [mountains],
and planted on it of every thing measured [or balanced.])
And here the word مَدَدْنَاهَا they interpreted as the earth is flat, while it means We supplemented it.
· Quran 50: 7
وَالْأَرْضَ مَدَدْنَاهَا وَأَلْقَيْنَا فِيهَا رَوَاسِيَ وَأَنبَتْنَا فِيهَا مِن كُلِّ زَوْجٍ بَهِيجٍ
The explanation:
(And the earth have We supplemented [with dust particles, meteorites and gases],
and cast on it [mountains] that heavily landed,
and planted on it of every pleasant kind [of plant.])
And here also the word مَدَدْنَاهَا they interpreted as the earth is flat, while it means We supplemented it.
· Quran 51: 48
وَالْأَرْضَ فَرَشْنَاهَا فَنِعْمَ الْمَاهِدُونَ
The explanation:
(And the earth –– We have covered [with a layer of soil];
and how well We have prepared it!)
Here the word فَرَشْنَاهَا they interpreted as the earth is flat, while it means We covered with a layer of soil suitable for agricultuer and cultivation.
· Quran 79: 30
وَالْأَرْضَ بَعْدَ ذَلِكَ دَحَاهَا .أَخْرَجَ مِنْهَا مَاءهَا وَمَرْعَاهَا
The explanation:
(And the earth, after that, He increased it[s crust thickness.]
[And He] produced from it [: the earth] the water thereof and the pasture thereof.)
Now the word دَحَاهَا they interpreted as the earth is flat, while it means He increased the thickness of its crust; the word in the old Arab poetry [mentioned in the Arabic book of the interpreter] means: to fill and store much.
· Quran 88: 20
أَفَلَا يَنظُرُونَ إِلَى الْإِبِلِ كَيْفَ خُلِقَتْ .وَإِلَى السَّمَاء كَيْفَ رُفِعَتْ . وَإِلَى الْجِبَالِ كَيْفَ نُصِبَتْ . وَإِلَى الْأَرْضِ كَيْفَ سُطِحَتْ
The explanation:
(Do they not consider how the camel is [wisely] created!?
How the sky is raised high [above the earth, without pillars, that they see],
How the mountains are set up [on the earth like pegs],
And how the earth is leveled [after its cooling and the formation of a crust suitable for dwelling and cultivation]?)
It means [as the word سُطِحَتْ literally indicates]:
A surface was made for the earth to become suitable for being inhabited by people, and suitable for cultivation and agriculture.
· Quran 91: 6
وَالْأَرْضِ وَمَا طَحَاهَا
The explanation:
(And [by] the earth and [the matter] which enlarged it [and increased the thickness of its crust!])
They interpreted the word
طَحَاهَا as the earth is flat, while it means: He enlarged it [and increased the thickness of its crust. The interpreter confirmed his interpretation by the old Arab poetry.
