Thank you, but there's no need to be sorry. Shyte happened, and they moved on. They're better off for it. I'm certainly better off for it. It's a pretty common sentiment among people to want their children to have a better life than they had. My parents were able to enjoy that success, lucky for me.
You're right, they don't live in refugee camps, well, they did for a while but not for a long time now, they moved on. That's the point. Why would they demand the right of return? In order to condemn themselves, their children, and those who expelled them to a life of misery? That would be dumb. There were tens of millions of displaced persons in the forties. Only the Palstinians still consider themselves refugees generations later. Why? What good has it done them or anybody else? And who's forcing them to remain refugees?
But alas, we are getting off topic. There's no shortage of threads for this discussion already.
