What I find amazing is that the rest of the world watched while the U.S. bombed to death a couple million in Korea, a couple million in Vietnam, a million in Laos and Cambodia and have now directly, and indirectly, have caused the deaths of a million Iraqis with no official complaints from the rest of the "free" world.
Well, Vietnam was a huge mistake, with Laos and Cambodia as sideshows to that......
I don't think it is fair to blame the US for "indirect" killings that result from sectarian violence they seek to halt, and I doubt the one million number, but all that is fit for debate......
But KOREA!!!?????
A quick glance at South and North will show how much the USA (with UN help) did for South Korea...........the critixcism here is way out of sync with any reasonable approach.
South Korea was attacked.
The UN mandated a response.
The USA carried the vast majority of the fight.
Millions of South Koreans have been spared death by starvation or gov't murder, and given the opportunity to develop into the prosperous democratic nation they are today.
BIG Kudos to the USA.
