Pretty sure Jesus looked very little like Clapton.
He may have looked like Yassir Arafat. Certainly not the paintings of him.

Would Jesus have been a conservative or a liberal.? What kind of simple mined would ask that question?
Sorry the simplicity of the question disallows for you to expound on your deep, mysterious ,esoteric profundity. You de MAYN!

Jesus was apolitical. "My kingdom is not of this world."
Conservatism would have lend him to be a part of the religious community. Without change. I think he came to change things. Not necessarily the Torah, but maybe a clearer understanding of the Jewish religion.

yes it is: Revelations 21:2

A New Heaven and a New Earth

1. Then I saw a new heaven and a new earth; for the first heaven and the first earth passed away, and there is no longer any sea. 2. And I saw the holy city, new Jerusalem, coming down out of heaven from God, made ready as a bride adorned for her husband. 3. And I heard a loud voice from the throne, saying, "Behold, the tabernacle of God is among men, and He will dwell among them, and they shall be His people, and God Himself will be among them,…

it will be on earth after all ....

I'm not sure about his political tendency.

But I'm pretty sure he was a very lousy carpenter :)

That's why he decided to be a con man.

I suspect he later became a communist. People who can't feed themselves usually are.

We had a debate about this subject on a Christian professing website. As usual the patriots easily won over the delusional right wingers who believe that today Jesus would be distributing Howitzers to children. Naturally, the website shut down the discussion as those right wingers took a tremendous beating. This had happened several times when the patriots won over those delusionals. When I pointed that out I got banned for allegedly insulting the forum's right wing mods.

Naturally.

Yeah I hear that. Despite the words , if you live by the sword, you will also die by the sword. Funny how that one gets disregarded,

This be true but remember that there were some Christian founding fathers. James Madison who was at the forefront of separation of church and state was a Christian. So it's not always this way,,,,or that way. Somewhere near the center lies the truth most of the time.

I do believe most of our forefathers were heavy into feathering their own nests though. But hell who isn;t in this fvcked up world

AKA,,there ain't no fookin heros.

Agree, Glacier. Jesus is apolitical.

"Then Jesus came to them and said, 'All authority in heaven and on earth has been given to me." (Matthew 28:18 NIV)

There is no need to align with a corrupt human construct when all authority is His.
