Yup..... see that's what makes me so special....

I accept my actions and I don't side line with a bunch of excuses.

But you don't have to defend what is indefensible.

Oh, and there's still time.

Nah...stick a fork in it...it's done

So long as it's not rigged, which it seems like it's not thus far.....

Oh it was rigged. Obama and the Democrats stole this one.

My turn Prax!

but then if Bush gives up his high chair to Obama, the question that will remain, is how long will Obama last?

I hope he lasts 4 years and does well. We need it. But I will be there to blame EVERY FREAKING THING on him. From the economy to natural disasters.

I like the cut of his jib, but I don't seem him getting through 4 years down there without losing a few vital organs from a bullet. Which is very unfortunate.

But if he does.... well I'll be wrong again. Humans do that.

Well let's hope he lives a long life. I do not want any of that to end his Presidency. I'd rather see his concession speech in 4 years.

There's still time.

I doubt it

Canada Who?

I wonder if Obama knows about Canada? What do you think?

So when are the troops leaving Iraq?

You should heed those words in other threads then if you believe that.

Not actually, there is still the time between today and when Bush passes the job over officially to Obama.

Once I actually see Bush walk out with his bags from the White House and Obama starts making decisions, will I think Bush's 8 year nightmare is over.

What happens, hypothetically, if Obama was taken out of action last night or before he is actually sworn into office? Bush remains in power and probably would activate Martial Law due to the murder of a US president.

Like I said, although there is a slim chance, there is still time..... and I don't put any pathetic concept beyond Bush.

Oh it was rigged. Obama and the Democrats stole this one.

Probably did.

My turn Prax!

Enjoy it.

Sure, that's your right.... just make sure you blame the already existing crap by Bush on Bush.

And don't worry, when Obama screws up, you'll hear me just like you've heard me so far. Just because I prefer him over McCain, doesn't mean I'll be giving him a green light in my views.

Well let's hope he lives a long life. I do not want any of that to end his Presidency. I'd rather see his concession speech in 4 years.

Well with any luck that will occur.... but from many of the people I have seen and heard through McCain rallies, there's a lot of white folk who are terrified of Obama, thinking he's a Muslim, or simply because he's black..... and I've seen a lot of very angry people in McCain rallies that even McCain had to attempt crowd control to prevent it from getting out of hand..... unfortunatly it only takes one nut job to shoot someone..... and from what I seen, there's a good chunk of people ready and willing to take a shot for many various reasons.

Will it happen? Who knows? Bush got through 8 years for a lot worse, so anything is possible..... but the chances are still pretty high unfortunatly

I doubt it

We'll see soon enough.

I wonder if Obama knows about Canada? What do you think?

Loads of Uranium, Fresh Water and Oil resources right next door, NAFTA..... I'm pretty sure he knows..... whether or not he cares or has plans that relate to us time will also tell.

So when are the troops leaving Iraq?

Ask your president.

This thread is getting absurd.

The part about America being arrogant is true and not true.

There's no doubt about the arrogance existing.

But this country has at least 50 million voters who hate this country's reputation for arrogance.

I do. I also admit fault when I am wrong.

Nah...it is over. He's done. The take over of the country never happened and will never happen. I do see how you want (joshing you a bit here) to hold onto that thought but Bush has already started packing.

What happens, hypothetically, if Obama was taken out of action last night or before he is actually sworn into office? Bush remains in power and probably would activate Martial Law due to the murder of a US president.

No way. If that was to happen, and I sure hope it doesn't, Biden would take over. The thought of martial law is just not going to happen.

Like I said, although there is a slim chance, there is still time..... and I don't put any pathetic concept beyond Bush.

Well you have to...you don't have much time left with the man.

Enjoy it.

I will but probably won't have as much fun as you guys did with GW.

Sure, that's your right.... just make sure you blame the already existing crap by Bush on Bush.

No way! The Dems are supposed to fix all that. They promised to. The GOP had to punt and the Dems are now deep in their own territory.

And don't worry, when Obama screws up, you'll hear me just like you've heard me so far. Just because I prefer him over McCain, doesn't mean I'll be giving him a green light in my views.

Then we will be agreeing A LOT more often.

I would believe the danger is probably greater for Obama than any other. But for the most part White Nationalist and Racist groups are pretty stupid. Take those two skinheads that just got nabbed. But as a white guy I am not afraid. I do not think there is a conspiracy to "get whitey". It was the white vote that got him in and if he gets crazy he will be a one term Prez.

Will it happen? Who knows? Bush got through 8 years for a lot worse, so anything is possible..... but the chances are still pretty high unfortunatly

I do hope he does well. You may not always be crazy about the coach but you still want to win the game.

Ask your president.

The President Elect?

I'll hang onto this for a quote below:

No way. If that was to happen, and I sure hope it doesn't, Biden would take over. The thought of martial law is just not going to happen.

I always thought they both have to be inaugurated before that could happen.

Well you have to...you don't have much time left with the man.

We shall see. I don't count me chickens before they hatch.

No way! The Dems are supposed to fix all that. They promised to. The GOP had to punt and the Dems are now deep in their own territory.

They have no choice but to fix all that, that's their job now..... their failure to do so would be their fault, but the creation of the current situation is the fault of the previous administration. You can't just wash your hands from what you created (Not you, Bush)

Then we will be agreeing A LOT more often.

Time will tell....... :p

The President Elect?

^ Exactly..... he's not the president yet.... not until Jan 20th from what I read..... plenty of time for what I was talking about in your first quote response above that I was holding onto.

Like I said.... until I see Bush leaving...... on a jet plane, not knowing when he'll be back again... oh babe, I imagine he hates to go.... will I believe he won't pull some stunt.

I always thought they both have to be inaugurated before that could happen.

Now that is a great political science question. I have no idea what the rule of law is but I would imagine that Biden as the VP Elect would stand in.

But for sure...the streets would flow with blood. Oh brother.

That is their job. I agree, they inherited a mess. BUT...they claim to have the solutions.

Right. Then they have what they call the "Honeymoon" where pretty much everyone lays off the new President for 8 months or so. There or abouts.

Like I said.... until I see Bush leaving...... on a jet plane, not knowing when he'll be back again... oh babe, I imagine he hates to go.... will I believe he won't pull some stunt.

Why the heck would he want to stay? I sure wouldn't. I bet Crawford Texas looks a lot better each day to him.

Opposed to righteous, kind and thoughtful Canadians as we are perfect and sneer at all things American?

You see...the end of the Bush Era is upon them. It has been a great 8 years.

Now what?

It can't just end!

They NEED this in their lives to justify their existence.

Barack Obama teared up during a rally at the University of North Carolina at Charlotte on Monday as he spoke about his beloved grandmother, Madelyn Dunham, who passed away, at age 86 of cancer, on the last day of his campaign.
"Some of you heard that my grandmother who helped raise me passed away this morning. She has gone home," Obama told the hushed crowd. "And she died peacefully in her sleep with my sister at her side. So there is a great joy as well as tears.
"I am not going to talk about it too long because it is hard for me to talk about it," he went on.
Obama suspended his campaign 10 days ago to visit Dunham -- whom he called "Toot" -- in Hawaii. He said he had hoped she would have lived long enough to see him elected.

Companionate Obama has resurrected the American spirit..................
