Honestly, what is going on with the posters on this forum? It seems like people are just looking for any little excuse to start a fight.

I have never felt unable to wish someone a Happy Easter or a Merry Christmas. No one in any of my jobs has ever been disciplined for doing so. I've never seen someone be offended by it. I'm not religious btw, I just seem to work with people who have more important things to worry about than imaginary slights.

I see a few nice posts, Tracy, there's 3 or 4 who can be a little obstreperous (and I'm even accused of it myself from time to time) and of course the worst ones post often making them more noticeable. I take heart in the fact that when people are whining a lot about trivia, that means things are Okay and everyone is basically happy. It's known as reverse psychology.............:lol::lol: Cheer up.

Well said Tracy.:hello1:

I was raised RC and have been friends with a lot of different people with a lot of different religious beliefs and have never hesitated to wish any of them a Merry Christmas, Happy Easter or any other holiday greeting that is currently in use and there are a lot of them.

"Saying Happy X-ster is just being sarcastic and a little nasty. Why would you feel the need to do that? "- That came from someone's else's post- certainly not mine- do you think I'm suicidal? LOL
I don't have the time to check back JLM but I didn't think I was responding to you. If I did - I apologize. I was not meaning to respond to you regarding that post.
I was responding to Cannuck's post (or so I thought) I have to go to work now.
Tracey - good post. You are quite right.

But does it taste like chocolate or just coloured sawdust like most Diabetic candies taste like?
No it's actually very good. I'm on my way to work right now. I will try to remember to check out the name brand while I am there and I'll let you know.
Happy Easter to you.

Try going up to some guy named Akbar and saying: "May the glory of Christmas shine unto you, and the Joy of the one true God, and the Christchild enter your soul"...........Course, if you do that at Easter, he may just be confused.

:laughing6: We sure get a lot of mileage out of a couple of questions, no?

Too much sugar indeed, Mr. Wolf.:bounce:

Damn, that lamb was good. Mint jelly, taters, and all.....

I wouldn't say something that ostentatious to a Christian! If someone ever said that to me I'd think they were a bit crazy too:lol:

Seriously, I have wished Merry Christmas to muslims, jews, hindus and atheists. I've yet to get a bad reaction. I think this one is a bit of a non-issue.

It's only as issue to radicals and those that drive political correctness. The other 98.5% of the population don't care.

Yes, you're right. It's just a thread.

I wish Merry Christmas to just about anyone. In July, even. .........
