Here's a question with the same answer. Are CC posters stupid?

Here's a question with the same answer. Are CC posters stupid?

- Walter ... Some are obviously stupid like the guy who recently posted that Obama was the most qualified and hardest working US president in history.

- Others are simply misinformed and have for too long drunk the liberal koolaide peddled by Trudeau and others in the Liberal Party of Canada that is even left of Obama not to mention still others who actually and sincerely believe in socialism and are members of Canada's socialist party, the Notoriously Dumb Party or NDP.

- And others, maybe the majority of posters here , support the kind of big spending, big government, big entitlement society extolled by Obama and the lunatic left wing fringe. Say for a moment, Walter, that you were a daily subscriber to the website LeftylosersleechesliarsandlunaticsRus.commie and that you had or wanted to score an overpaid and underworked public sector sinecure or to continue to score some benefit program to which you may not really be entitled. Would you vote for the big government lefty guy or for the limited gcvernment free enterprise guy? You would, of course, vote for the former and not because you're stupid but because you are a government trougher of one kind or another.

- Fortunately for Canada, there is also a growing number of thoughtful Canadians who support conservative economic and financial policies and moderate rather than extreme left social policies, enough to have elected the most well regarded leader and government (Angela Merkel is also at the top of the heap) among the G7 leaders who actually know each other.

- So no, not all Canadians are stupid. It just seems that way sometimes reading this forum.

I would guess no more so or less so than any other politician, they are all tarred with the same brush, lie to get elected, lie after they are elected (at least when they pull their snouts out of the trough so they can tell lies) On a related note I thought Guantanimo was supposed to be shut down three years ago.

- I leave it to you, Goodbar, to play childish fear and smear and name games which is pretty much Obama's entire campaign with 2008's hope and change being replaced with 2012's fear and smear

- The blank post of mine was not blank when I posted it but a moderator or some other left wing whackjob is playing childish games and has deleted ny post.

- So here is an excerpt (maybe he'll delete this too in which case I am out of here for good) from a book review of The Real Romney, a tell all of Mitt's life and career written by two journnalists from the uber-liberal Boston Globe which has long opposed Romney.

- The book review is written by a guy who didn't like Romney but started to warm up to Mitt as he read more about the man's great humanity and anonymous charitable good deeds.

- The excerpt I am citing here makes a nice contrast with your phony socialist hero who wouldn't even pony up a grand for his own half brother to pay for an operation for his Kenyan half brother's son.

"Almost every personal detail about Romney I found endearing. But my slowly softening opinion went instantly to goo when The Real Romney unfolded an account of his endless kindnesses—unbidden, unsung, and utterly gratuitous. “It seems that everyone who has known him has a tale of his altruism,” the authors write. I was struck by the story of a Mormon family called (unfortunately) Nixon. In the 1990s a car wreck rendered two of their boys quadriplegics. Drained financially from extraordinary expenses, Mr. Nixon got a call from Romney, whom he barely knew, asking if he could stop by on Christmas Eve. When the day came, all the Romneys arrived bearing presents, including a VCR and a new sound system the Romney boys set up. Later Romney told Nixon that he could take care of the children’s college tuition, which in the end proved unnecessary. “I knew how busy he was,” Nixon told the authors. “He was actually teaching his boys, saying, ‘This is what we do. We do this as a family.’ ”
Romney’s oldest son Tagg once made the same point to the radio host Hugh Hewitt. “He was constantly doing things like that and never telling anyone about them,” Tagg said. “He doesn’t want to tell people about them, but he wanted us to see him. He would let the kids see it because he wanted it to rub off on us.”"

I guess this fellow is a left wing wacko as well. Oh and I am sure you are aware that other republicans have distanced themselves from Mitt and ball cutter.
No doubt a treasonous act to people like yourself.

Former GOP governor

Tampa may have escaped the worst of tropical storm Isaac, but Republicans arrived for their convention to find another kind of tempest brewing over the direction of their party.

Florida’s former Republican governor, Charlie Crist, stole almost as much of the convention’s thunder as Isaac by formally endorsing President Barack Obama over GOP nominee Mitt Romney on Sunday. He lashed out at the GOP for moving so far to the right that moderates like him have been left with no other choice but to quit the party.

Does Romney know yet if he is pro-choice or for a constitutional change banning abortion all together?

Big news today, Kreskin, about the "right" holding close to the no abortion flotsam, and kill the homos jetsam.

Romney did however, find his ass. But he had to use both hands.;-)
