For the record... I'm against gay marriage because I think it's unfair that all the fashion and decorating sense ends up going to the gay couples.
I'm against gay marriage because I think it's unfair that I have to marry a monosyllabic straight guy instead of my chatty gay friend who could talk my ear off for the next 60 years of our marriage.
I'm against gay marriage because I think it's unfair that lesbians have no one to move their heavy furniture or take them camping.
I'm against gay marriage because I think it's unenvironmental to have to design and manufacture all those different wedding cake toppers.
I'm against gay marriage because I don't want the couple next door to be more interesting at community parties, than my family is.

Actually, as with anything else, I'm not against people pairing off with their own kind. Calling it "marriage" used to bother me but I suppose like everything else the English language is changing. If we are every going to live in peace and harmony in this world you just can't be driving a wedge between people who are compatible as long as they are minding their own business and not hurting anyone else!
