I've asked this question to you a few times so far, but I haven't, as yet, received a satisfactory answer.

Taking in refugees... nothing more.

No, it's not. It's for Britain's role in liberating Norway.

Belittle Britain's achievement all you like, but it will not change this fact; not change the fact that the Norwegians are very grateful to the British; and not change to the fact that you can't stand it that Britain was instrumental in Norway's liberation whilst America did nothing.

When this Christmas comes, Britain will once again receive a Christmas tree from a grateful Norwegian people as a thankyou for Britain's role in liberating their country. America will, once again, receive nothing from the Norwegians, because America played no role in the liberation of America. And you can't stand it. And it shows.

The Brits did not liberate Norway. The Soviets and Norwegians did.

The Brits took in Norwegian refugees during their retreat from Norway.

Those are the facts.

Enjoy your tree.

America will, once again, receive nothing from the Norwegians, because America played no role in the liberation of America. And you can't stand it. And it shows.

Spazzing out are you?

Only 14% of Britons think American did the most to win WWII. They're very sensible those Brits.

32% of Norwegians think the British did the most to win the war, and only 23% think the Americans did the most to win it.

American PR is clearly responsible for Europeans (apart from a few sensible exceptions, like the British and Norwegians) thinking they 'saved us'.

None of this is evidence you klutz, it's perception.

Have you got any evidence from your rather dubious assertion?

How about we all just celebrate the destruction of the Nazis instead of a pissing match.

We all now live a better life because of the battles won and lost by brave men and women.

No we don't. I think you are a victim of public education. Destruction and murder like world war 2 cannot possibly have contributed to better life, except for the very special few.

Nazis are not bad then?

Please clarify your position.

Those Nazis have been dead for a long time. They were eclipsed on the badness scale by the victors who by this time have murdered and starved at least two hundred million and those not killed outright impoverished. Any good that came from that war evapourated four decades ago.

Yet my comment reflected on the struggle won by all those who opposed the evil that the nazis represented. A victory by all that you apparently ignore.

Huge problem - lots of thinking people are wrong about what they are thinking! :) :)

What a retard.

Britain will be far richer and more influential outside of the EUSSR.

How about we all just celebrate the destruction of the Nazis instead of a pissing match.

We should be discussing why Americans should be giving thanks to the British Empire. That's the whole nature of this thread.
