Obama, the candidate was interviewed by Bill O'Reilley on FOXNews.

It was the ONLY interview where this petulant, narcissistic, egomaniacal nicotine addict was asked tough questions, rather than the usual slobbereing, snivelling adoration he found on other networks.

No wonder he declared war. His ego was hurt. This present reaction is a sure sign of a small mind. If he was half as tough on the Taliban and Al-Qaida, as he is on FOXNews, he might be considered half a man.

Goober asked:

"YJ - You take Fox news as a reputable source?"

Sure I do. I form my opinion on the fact that I use my PVR, and watch news from both FOXNews and CNN, MSNBC and braodcast networks.

I challenge anybody knowledgable enough - and I mean anyone who actually watches FOXNews - to tell me how CNN, MSNBC and the broadcast networks report the news in a more credible and reliable way than FOXNews.

I am more than willing to acknowledge that the OPINION shows on FOX (Factor, Hannity, Beck, etc..) are leaning, sometimes very strongly to the right.

However, that is not nearly as bad as the NEWS shows of CNN, MSNBC and the Broadcast networks leaning to the Left. Tingle up the leg? Dan Rather's forgery?
The daily bashing of Sarah Palin? The hatred spread by Olbermann? Shuster? And last but not least Rachel Madcow?

You will never see vitriol on FOXNews as you do on MSNBC.

The major nets don't do proper news. What they ARE doing is tabloid news.
Independent news sources are less likely to be biased and more likely to have decent reporters.

Bill Oreilyly is nothing more than a piss poor reporter that gave up drinking - Lou Dobbs like Oreilly plays to what I would say - the crowds at the roman circuses - bread and wine - They are nothing but blowhards that 10 years ago were nothing - Now they command respect from the intolerant - Small PS - prior to the bush leadup to the Iraqi war of BS and WMD only one mid western paper went against the line from the white house - the rest of major journalists from the NWT to Mewsweek - Time and all the rest wewre hooked on the 911 drug of revenge - Doesn't matter who but we are going to inflict massive pain - all condemned them - PS - they were right - Asa to Srah Palin - really - she is dumber than a bag of hammers - and why would the press not ahmmer her - ahve you listened to her - i can see russia from here - Jesus - Give your head a shake.
US news sucks - It is so slanted that most are comparable to the enquirer - Watched Larry King on the election night for Bush's re lection fight - Looked useless and old -
As a good friend said to me and it makes sense and i quote " Everyone has an agenda".
My saying " be careful of those that agree with you".

I thought O'Reilly's program was an editorial, not news.
Editorials do represent the Fox Network -If he went against the line on a regular basis how long would he be employed - he gets ratings -same as Lou Dobbs - they both play the mob mentality - people like YJ swear by him - an advertisers dream - and the network rakes in the cash.

Obama suggests Fox News is like 'talk radio'

By Eric Zimmermann - 10/22/09 10:08 AM ET
Fox News is "operating basically as talk radio," President Obama suggested in an interview airing today.
After weeks of public feuding between the cable news channel and the president's top aides, Obama seemed to agree with statements by his advisers that Fox is not a real "news station."

"I think what our advisers have simply said is that we are going to take media as it comes," Obama told NBC's Savannah Guthrie. "And if media is operating basically as a talk radio format then that's one thing, and if it's operating as a news outlet that's another but it's not something I'm losing sleep over."
White House Senior Adviser David Axelrod said this weekend that Fox is "not really a news station." That echoies similar comments made by White House Communications Director Anita Dunn and White House Chief of Staff Rahm Emanuel.

Censorship is coming.
