Damn, my student debt is considerably lower. Here I thought I was almost debt free.

Sorry- your math is WAY OFF! In their vote buying frenzy- LIE-berals run up massive debts for one generation that will take MANY generations to pay! When you are young you pay out a portion of your income in taxes- but when you are old and sick that tax comes back to you in medical bills to care for you!
But- as with all things LIE-beral- they START with a sensible fact and then blow it up into insanity! The ugly truth is that LIE-berals have borrowed $150 to $200 grand IN THE NAME OF EACH OF US!
It does not matter if you approved or otherwise.
It does not matter if you feel you did not get your fair share of gravy.
It does not matter that you cannot see where the money went nor even see any real benefit.
ALL THAT MATTERS IS THIS: THAT LIE-BERALS BOUGHT ENOUGH VOTES TO GET RE-ELECTED- AND YOU GET TO PAY!
If you want somebody to blame then look at the 55plus percent of Cdns who did not care enough to bother voting while LIE-berals ran up their massive debts- that WE OWE!
On the plus side- that 55 percent of Cdns have apparently now been so heavily taxed and price gouged by LIE-berals that the next election may produce some exciting events!
BUT YOU WILL STILL OWE $200 GRAND!

Not true. TFWs were originally set up for projects like the ones I work on where we need engineering/management experience for a specific project or time frame.

My answer is this: Whining about your sad little childhood- which sounds no different than that of virtually every other Cdn is no justification for destroying the entire Cdn economy with insane civil service union Hog entitlements- aided and abetted by grossly greedy LIE-beral willing to cling to power at any price!
WE could- for instance- save ourselves fifty five billion dollars in new debt simply by admitting that the pension promises made by LIE-berals to OSSTF/Ontari-owe high school teachers were insane! WE did not have that money when LIE-berals made the promise in exchange for votes and we do not have the money now that Ontari-owe has become the most indebted sub national entity on the planet thanks to LIE-beral fiscal madness!
IN their desperation, Ontari-owe LIE-berals are throwing out all sorts of insane promises of new benefits to be showered upon us- if only we swallow our gag reflex and vote for them one more time! With the COST of all these promises to be determined later! MUCH LATER! Isn’t it nice to know that LIE-berals will be able to quickly find new jobs after the election- as used car sales people- just like the scuzzy ones depicted on tv show W-5 selling illegal wrecks- while civil service Hogs look the other way!
One way to offer up the “fairness” that LIE-beral so often talk about- but never produce would be to start making Hogs pay the health levy- just like the rest of us! Yes- one employed Cdn in 3 works for govt and NONE of them pay the health levy!
LIE-berals talk a lot about the cost of child care and a quick way to reduce that cost- which LIE-berals are ignoring- would be to fire all the ETFO teacher hogs who are in charge of govt daycare! There is absolutely No REASON to put highly paid Hog university graduates in charge of wiping snotty noses and demonstrating how to tie shoe laces- assuming there are any kids still out there whose parents have not bought their kids those easy to put on shoes with velcro straps!
There is ONLY ONE REASON why non unionized graduates of Early Childhood Education course cannot look after our 3 year olds for us- at a fraction of the cost of the Hogs- non union people are just not reliable supporters of LIE-berals! LIE-beral lust for power at any price trumps common sense and fiscal responsibility! LIE-berals were only too happy to have students sign up for those costly ECE classes- and then LIE-berals threw the ECE grads under the bus and gave all the jobs related to caring for kids to union Hogs! At HUGE cost!
Oh well, its only our money! But it makes LIE-berals and Hogs crazy that we might be demanding some of it back after the next elections! HAHAHAHAHA!!!!

So the premier of Ontari-owe (the infamous McWynnty) wants to save us from our own silly spending habits (the pot calling the kettle a filthy black mess-that one is!) by implementing a made in Ontari-owe pension plan-one which the Lie-berals can (quietly) use as a fabulous slush fund! The Lie-berals have bought civil service union support for many years by offering pensions which are so generous that such a payout is ILLEGAL in any pension fund offered in the private sector and, because they are Lie-berals, and because `bait and switch` tactics are absorbed by them with their mother’s milk; they have consistently UNDERFUNDED these solid gold pension offerings to the Lie-beral friendly gravy train riders. Things are now so bad in gravy train pension world that by about 2018, the pension shortfall for Ontari-owe high school teachers will hit about 55 BILLION dollars-based on numbers presented by the outgoing chairman of the pension management committee in an interview with Steve Paiken on TVO/The Agenda-or in other words-the coming teacher pension deficit (in 2018) will amount to about 20% of the current Ontari-owe budget for an entire year and will be owed (thanks to a solemn Lie-beral promise- that they DID NOT mention to us!) to high school teachers regardless of our ability to pay!
Other vast amounts are also owed to Ontario Power Generation workers and in fact pretty well ALL government pension plans are about to be gutted in the next few years as the money being put in is utterly inadequate to pay for all the endless entitlements of Lie-beral. Various Cdn news media reported- up till 2012 that 97 percent of ALL defined benefit pension plans were in grave danger of bankruptcy unless vast new sums of money were made available to Hogs! News reports from 2012 said that our federal govt owed over three hundred billion dollars in LIE-beral pension promises to the Hogs! With untold hundreds of billions MORE in LIE-beral pension IOU`s to provincial and municipal workers- and even more to Hogs at Crown Corporations such as ORNGE. E-health, Metrolix and the assorted colleges, hospitals and universities!
So, McWynnty has decided to rope in all private sector workers and their employers and FORCE them to participate in a made in Ontari-owe pension plan which will compel tax payers to supply McWynnty with a huge slush fund to meddle and monkey with….at the expense of ordinary tax payers who have already been fiscally emasculated by the spendaholic Lie-berals…..and before the next election rolls around we ought to ask just how much of this proposed pension money (taken literally at gunpoint by Lie-berals) will EVER make it back to the hands of ordinary people? Or should we fear that much of this money will be re-directed into the pockets of the ever hungry gravy train riders? Yes, how much of that money will be given to Lie-beral friends who have been promised so VERY MUCH by Lie-berals and how much of the money will find its way back to ordinary people who have PAID so very much ? Is this a hard question to answer? If so, I suggest you get your fat ass out of your seat and wipe the grease off the nearest window and have a look outside the gravy train at the real world!
If McWynnty feels that new `revenue tools` are so necessary to her party then why doesn’t she impose the same `health levy`-it’s NOT a tax-McGinty said so-onto civil servants across the province? If it’s good enough for the rest of us to pay then then why not stick it to the gravy train riders as well? After all, NO civil servant currently pays that `health levy` that McGinty imposed to `save` Ontari-owe health care from bankruptcy! Do civil servants never get sick? Never need health care? McWynnty needs to be drowned in her own gravy before she ruins us all!
And isnt it nice- our premier Wynne-bag spent a mere seventy million dollars trying to set up her pension slush fund before killing it off in frustration. But LIE-berals NEVER run out of schemes or entitlements either! Wynne-bag has sold of a portion of our Hydro system to “private investors” - meaning FRIENDS of LIE-beral party and the Hydro books are now SHUT! We ordinary people have NO RIGHT to know what LIE-berals are doing with our Hydro money! The Hydro slush fund apparently IS UP AND RUNNING- to our cost!
