It's pretty hard for an idiot to keep continuously occupied because there's limited # of things they can do.
Of course if you want to SCARE people then start adding what we owe for ALL levels of govt! At the rate LIE-berals are spending we will end up bankrupt like the Greeks and will repudiate the debt- and cause economic chaos!
The worst of it is thast about 60 percent of our debt is held by foreigners- mostly Yankees- followed by smaller amounts held by Germans and by Japanese! If LIE-berals repudiate the debt then good luck getting parts for your Honda- or your BMW!
AS for Yankees- they are right next door and can take more direct action to collect what they are owed! After all, they do want access to our oil and electricity!
Our idiot Boy Justin is distressed that Trump has hit us with steep tariffs on steel and aluminum- right after Our idiot Boy put out his new budget- with a mess of mad spending nonsense and ANOTHER MASSIVE DEFICIT!
Only a LIE-beral could be so happily oblivious to the timing and coincidence! Our idiot Boy is picking a trade war with our most valuable ally! And the idiot Boy expects Yankees to pick up the tab just the same way socialist Greeks whine about rotten German tax payers who wont hand over their life savings to pay for Greeks!

OTTAWA — The war on drugs may move to a new battlefield in Canada, if Liberal MPs get their way: the 2019 federal election campaign.
They’re pushing the Trudeau government to go much further than legalizing recreational marijuana. In a priority resolution they hope will be adopted at the Liberals’ policy convention in April for inclusion in the next election platform, the national caucus is calling on the government to eliminate criminal penalties for simple possession and consumption of all illicit drugs.
Newly-minted NDP Leader Jagmeet Singh has taken a similar stance.

But the Conservatives, who have opposed many elements of the plan to legalize pot by July, are signalling that they would object to decriminalizing the use of other, harder drugs even more strenuously.
(A great many Cdns are already unhappy with LIE-beral changes to drug laws. They worry about happy stoners operating heavy equipment and casually slapping sensitive equipment together on the job. In cases where a fatal car crash was caused by drunk driving- over 40 percent of drivers were also stoned. A Japanese prime minister visiting United States nearly caused a riot when he suggested that Yankee workers were drugged up and sloppy workers after he was asked to explain the success of Japanese products such as cars- yet when General Motors tried to set up a “snitch line” so that senior staff could get help for Oshawa plant workers who got drunk or drugged up during lunch breaks, the union went berserk at the perceived insult. GM felt that lunch hour boozing was a company wide problem- even at the Oshawa plant- the one with the consistently highest quality of any plant in North America!)
“The Conservatives haven’t been satisfied or in any way pleased with what they’re doing in the area of marijuana. I think it’s going to be a complete mess in this country,” Conservative justice critic Rob Nicholson said in an interview.
(Cdns do not think that laws that make it easier for kids to get access to drugs is a good idea- with parents more worried about kids with Weed than with alcohol- since it is easier for kids to get at Weed than alcohol already! Cdns are also worried about the social costs of easier access to hard drugs- many of us recall Lisa Podniewitz- the 9 year old girl who was beaten to death by her drug addicted parents. WE also recall that the day before she died of pneumonia caused by breathing troubles from her broken ribs- SHE WAS VISITED by a City of Toronto social worker who kindly tied a bracelet to the ankle of the dying child without noticing the poor kid ALSO had a broken leg!)
(And how could a social worker MISS such a list of injuries on a dying kid? The social worker was a refugee from Chile- and was hired ONLY for her Spanish language skill and ability to explain city services to immigrants from South American countries- the usual LIE-beral immigrant vote buying exercise. The woman had NO training as a social worker and basically got paid well to watch the kid DIE- since there were very few Spanish speaking refugees in the city needing her services and govt had to keep her busy somehow- doing work she was NOT trained for!)
“That being said, to expand this … to do anything that does anything except discourage people from taking opioids and strong drugs I think is a mistake,” he added.
(It is hard to argue that an adult sitting at home on a Saturday evening- with work done and down time at hand- is ruining society by having a little smoke up while watching a funny movie or listening to music etc. The problem comes when a mass of workers are out in the parking lot 20 minutes before start of shift- furiously smoking up because they cannot get through their work day without it- it speaks of a crap attitude that shows up in quality of work! In addition, LIE-berals already have enough trouble with hard core drug addicts who cannot hold a job, need an array of govt services, regularly use food banks, require “affordable housing” for their kids such as Lisa Podniewitz- born of a mother working as a hooker to get drug money- which maybe explains why her `father`- so called- did not worry much about her- she was nothing but a welfare funded meal ticket and occasional punching bag- sired by a stranger! LIE-berals have proven they cannot handle the current welfare system and related drug issues in a sensible way so WHY would we let them EXPAND their madness?)

Many Conservatives feared legalization of pot would be just the first step towards legalizing other, harder drugs. But Nicholson said he’s frankly surprised that Liberal MPs aren’t even waiting to see how legalizing cannabis works out before starting down that slippery slope.

Prime Minister Justin Trudeau has repeatedly ruled out legalization of drugs other than cannabis. He has not so far commented on the resolution advanced by his own caucus, which does not actually go so far as to advocate legalization of other drugs.
(Several Toronto Socialist Silly Hall councillors have already mused that it might be a good idea to legalize heroin- so apparently the madness is catching? Or else LIE-berals have decided that drug dealers and addicts are the two latest groups to be encouraged to sell their votes and their souls to LIE-beral Party!)
Rather, the caucus is proposing that Canada adopt the model that has proven successful in Portugal in significantly reducing overdose deaths, decreasing illicit drug use and reducing the social cost of drug abuse.
AS was seen on the TVO documentary, the Portuguese model is also a GREAT WAY to swell the ranks of civil service Hogs and poverty pimps who owe their lives on the gravy train to LIE-berals- its MORE shameless vote buying! While at the same time allowing LIE-berals to make UNFOUNDED CLAIMS about reducing illicit drug use and reducing social costs! Frankly, it looks to me as if the social cost is simply moved around a little! Hiring an army of poverty pimps to hold the hands of hard core addicts is NOT CHEAP!)
Since 2001, Portugal has expanded treatment and harm reduction services, such as safe injection sites, and eliminated criminal penalties for simple possession and consumption of all illegal drugs. A person found in possession of a drug for personal use is no longer arrested but ordered to appear before a “dissuasion commission” which can refer the person to a treatment program or impose administrative sanctions.
(Portugese LIE-berals are acting like 3 year olds- closing their eyes to make the problem “disappear”! Do we Cdns WANT to expand that huge underclass of drug addled morons who cannot and will not ever be self supporting because they are addicted?)

(The current Cdn “war on drugs” means not bothering to inspect 99 percent of ALL the cargo shipped to Canada from around the world! Would we have less drug problem if we searched incoming cargo more diligently instead of just giving up the war on drugs? LIE-berals see no reason to bother tracking the use of various chemicals used in drug production- so would we have les drugs if access to certain chemicals was restricted? LIE-berals don’t care to answer!)

We’re talking about a step that would decriminalize (drug use) … I think the easiest way of thinking about it is we currently use the criminal justice system to tackle drug abuse and let’s use the health system as much as possible to tackle drug abuse instead.”
(Ideally we should follow the Imperial Chinese model in which drug addicts were sent to a secure facility and stayed there till their physical addiction to Opium had passed. Addicts who fell off the wagon got another round of treatment- with the conditions deteriorating with each failure. In the first round you were a victim in need of aid. By the third round- if needed- you were regarded as a social parasite in need of punishment for being a slow learner- and you were put on a Chinese version of Ontari-owe Works- performing various useful tasks at the treatment centre such as cleaning up vomit and washing bed sheets! AS various news reports have told us- it is easier to get drugs in Cdn jail than on the street! This is an UTTER FAILURE of the legal system!)
In a recent byelection in Toronto’s Scarborough-Agincourt, the Conservative candidate ran social media ads, one of which featured a grainy photo of a junkie injecting heroin into his arm. The ads warned voters about the Liberals’ plan to legalize pot and create more safe injection sites.
“The Trudeau Liberals want to bring dangerous drugs into our community,” one ad asserted. “The Liberals are rushing to legalizing (sic) marijuana despite concerns being raised by police and health professionals. And now they want to legalize prescription heroin!”
(LIE-berals are also blind and deaf to the concerns of Cdn public who DO NOT want safe injection sites or housing for addicts in their neighborhoods!)
It’s not hard to imagine how much sharper Conservative attacks would become if the Liberal party adopts the caucus proposal. But Erskine-Smith said Liberals shouldn’t let that deter them.
(No- and LIE-berals don’t let public opinion sway them either! They were warned many years ago that their mouldy green energy plan and the sale of Hydro to private investors would get them into trouble and look at them now! Wynne-bag is the most hated premier in history!)

Handing out methadone has not resolved many problems as holders of methadone prescriptions often cheat and get multiple supplies and use it instead of heroin etc! And methadone users are classed as “disabled” in Ontari-owe- how will LIE-berals and the general public feel about a vast new drug addled mob claiming welfare money for their drug habits while sober Cdns struggle to pay their bills and get enough to eat with the pennies remaining to them after the tax man gets his HIT!)

Politicians and bureaucrats don’t know a thing about picking economic winners and losers. In fact, they’re downright bad at it.
(History show that the more govt involvement there is in a business the more likely it is to run red ink! One has only to think of Urban Transport Development
Corporation- the LIE-beral brain child that was taken over by Ndp and then DROWNED in its own red ink! Or Petro Canada- the Pierre Trudope brain child that was run by civil service union Hogs and NEVER showed a penny of profit in spite of being given FREE ACCESS to oil fields that private companies had to PAY to get into- with private sector still managing to show a profit! Or maybe we should discuss Bombardier- that vast tax grant gobbling entity that is spinning towards disaster like a turd in a flushed toilet- with all manner of accusations of poor quality control, delivery problems and a trade war with Yankees at Boeing! Fortunately the Bombardier trade war with Brazilian aircraft makers seems to have faded away! Or what of Metro Toronto Housing Authority which took over myriad apartment buildings in Toronto because the old private landlords were not “managing” the buildings in a nice enough way- with Metro Housing stepping in on behalf of the tenants and now MTHC is widely recognized as the biggest slum lord in the country! Govt “solutions” to real economic problems are NEVER valid solutions and they are NEVER CHEAP either!)
Yet time and time again politicians and bureaucrats convince themselves they possess the economic insights and business acumen needed to spend billions of taxpayers’ dollars trying to will into existence hundreds of new businesses – whole industries sometimes – and millions of new jobs.
(Another fine example of govt mess would be E-health- that ghastly crown corp that refuses to die! After the E-health scandal involving gross cost over runs- LIE-berals “fixed” the problem by simply refusing to set budgets for E-health- just send them blank cheques with NO limits! E-health execs figure they may have an actual product for us to try in a couple more years- MAYBE! But given the utter LACK of success in fixing the federal Phoenix pay system we ought to be sceptical of any assurances! Or we could consider the “success” of the TTC Presto card system which cost way more and is much less reliable than municipal govt expected! With TTC spokespeople offering up various explanations and excuses!)
They (govt) would be more successful if they each went to the gift shop at a Harry Potter exhibit, bought plastic wands and stood out in the parking lot chanting made-up spells.
The latest example of an expensive, government-driven exercise in economic futility was the announcement by Bains late last week of federal funding for five business “superclusters.”
Over the next five years, Ottawa is going to “invest” nearly a billion of your tax dollars funding five centres around which innovative businesses and scientists are going to cluster to do super stuff. Okay, so that’s a weak description of what a “supercluster” is, but I’m not sure there is a good description.
When asked to explain, Bains told reporters, “It is a made-in-Canada Silicon Valley that will create tens of thousands of jobs – that’s what a supercluster is.”
No, that’s what you hope a supercluster will evolve into. But you can’t just go to a big-box store, plunk down an oversized subsidy cheque, and grab another Silicon Valley off the shelf. If it were that easy, every Tom, Dick or Navdeep would do it.
Creating the next Silicon Valley can’t be planned. And it certainly can’t be planned by some government committee and a bunch of handout-seeking “innovators.”
(WE should recall that Toronto mayor Sorry Tory wasted a pile of tax dollars trying to figure out how to make a Toronto version of New Orleans jazz/Bourbon St- and he also spent time studying The Grand Old Opry in hopes of giving Toronto a taste of country! Nothing has come of it of course and why should it? Our vaunted Hollywood North exists ONLY because govt has thrown MASSIVE tax breaks at it! Unlike politicians- movie makers are generally GOOD business people and they go were the money is- and with Toronto so sadly Broke there will be NO Grand Old Opry on Front St!
Want to know how the original Silicon Valley came into existence? William Shockley, who was crucial to the development of both the transistor and the semiconductor, and who shared the 1956 Nobel Prize in Physics for his efforts, is known as “the Father of Silicon Valley.” And he moved his Shockley Semiconductor Labs from New Jersey to Mountain View, Calif., in the late ‘50s because his mother, who lived in Palo Alto, was ailing and he wanted to be close to her during her declining years.
Bains and the Liberals would have better luck trying to find supersmart men or women who are devoted sons or daughters and pay their moving expenses.
(One has to think back to some other dubious govt money making schemes such as “Bubbles Galore” -the soft porn film that Hogs were certain would make Quebec into a porn flim powerhouse- and did NOT! Or the biker bar- complete with strippers- some of whom may not have worked voluntarily - that Hogs thought would be a good bet for a loan of our tax dollars- to the bikers!)
The biggest single problem with political and bureaucratic decision-making is that most of the factors deemed important have nothing to do with what makes a business successful. For instance, the Liberals just happened to find one worthy supercluster in each of Canada’s five regions. No region was left out; no region got two. That wasn’t a politically motivated coincidence in any way, was it?
Or how about the fact that the “protein industries” supercluster that is to be built on the Prairies is going to focus on “plant proteins.” What about meat? Meat’s a protein and the Prairies are very good at producing it. Oh, right, meat isn’t politically correct. So even if meat would make the protein supercluster successful – a business decision – it can’t be funded for political reasons.
The same kind of thinking that is behind the “superclusters” (which is nothing more than a catchy phrase thought up by a marketing consultant), is also behind Ontario’s decade-long “green energy” push. That was supposed to create hundreds of thousands of high-tech jobs as it transitioned Ontario into the “carbon-free future.”
(And we all know that mouldy green energy is simply a giant slush fund for Hogs and it only cleans out our wallets and leaves the dirt in the air! LIE-berals are creating super clusters of debt!)
And the Alberta NDP’s climate leadership/carbon tax was to lift Alberta out of recession.
(With Alberta economy improving now because oil prices are climbing slowly higher- and in part because of massive NDP borrowing- 9 billion dollars for 2018 alone! One would think that Ndpers would have learned from the Bob Rae Ontari-owe disaster!)
Nothing makes superclusters any more likely to succeed than those previous failures.
(LIE-berals are convinced that there is nothing more to govt than to make regular public announcements for LIE-beral friendly news media and then to collect gobs of gravy for stating vague platitudes on various subjects!)

“The push back we’re getting is actually not from south of the border, the push back we’re getting is from Canadian Conservatives, who said ‘Oh no this is about economics, it’s about jobs... it’s not about rhetorical flourishes of being good on environment or being good on gender,”’ Trudeau said.

What of former presidential Candidate Christine Ferrera who dropped out of politics shortly after she was caught as a tax cheat employing several undocumented aliens- Mexicans if I recall- at her home as cook and gardener etc? The Liberal government recently tabled a federal budget that promised to consider the way programs and policies impact different genders in different ways.
(A Cdn federal budget is one thing- ramming socialist garbage down the throats of Yankees simply trying to deal with murderous Muslim raiders setting up shop in Canada with LIE-beral aid is another! LIE-berals are two faced!)
But the government is also facing criticism over the troubled national inquiry into missing and murdered Indigenous women and girls, with some families calling for a complete reboot of the process.
(Poor Cdn natives- they just don’t get it! They are being used as tools by LIE-berals! There will be no resolution to the Missing and Murdered Women inquiry because there is NO NEW information! Only hard facts can resolve this festering sore and there are none available! There is only shameful political posturing by LIE-berals who do not dare speak freely for fear of outraging the Cdn public! Natives insist that racism is behind the native women`s troubles and it is understandable that families with missing members will be upset but allowing a rabid few radicals to spout hate without any proof will not heal the wounds! And one can understand why natives would rather blame “racist” cops and lazy govt than discuss the dangerous life styles of so many natives that render them vulnerable to injury and death- but LIES help nobody- except LIE-beerals!)
(As usual LIE-berals have acted without first considering the long term consequences of the Inquiry and are now backing away from the Inquiry as it has started a firestorm that will lose them more votes than they hoped to gain!)
When asked about the controversy during Monday’s talk, Trudeau admitted there were some difficulties but said the process was “on the right track.”

My share personally? ZERO! I think anyone past 65 has paid their dues over the years, when we were young we didn't get as many freebes as the young kids get today.
