Ours is 4.3%.

It sure helps when a quarter of your population is completely disenfranchised, living outside the system and is not counted. All sorts of magic numbers can be conjured up if you leave out the very poor, black, illegal immigrant population and just count the Edicotts.

"Keep in mind Trump managed to both threaten nuclear war and embrace neo-Nazis while on vacation. Wait until he gets back to work!

I studied this at some length. I promise I'm giving you the straight story. And if the Electrical College (what most little kids call it) is suppose to protect us from f*cking disasters as Presidents, it has utterly failed at least twice, and in my opinion, more often.

I think have the same viewpoint coming from different directions, as your last sentence is exactly what I have been trying to say.

Nothing’s Shocking Anymore With Trump

Not quite true.

What is SHOCKING is the amount and TYPE of supporters he continues to have. What is shocking is finding out that the US has not evolved all that much beyond racism , guns, and other anti social groups that have a basis in one form of prejudice or another. It is SHOCKING to see what Trump has encouraged to crawl out of the woodwork with is attitude and prejudicial and childish talk. One can safely say that the US is in trouble under this crazy * incompetent gang. Notice how all the current conversation is a total distraction from the fact trump and gang is achieving very little .....at the job he was elected to do. What he HAS achieved is : he has pizze d off virtually everyone (except his supporters) on the planet. If not pizzed off.......he has offended them. Of course the other possibility is that Trump and gang is doing exactly what 'america wants and the country is going in the direction of choice. The world might have to get used t a silly/ unstable -psychologically America. The fact is that he SOUNDS like a madman. All one has to do is watch him during his "press briefings"...He is disconnected, angry, he rambles ,repeats himself and dose not sound rational. He confabulates as a routine.

Trump often violates Twitter's term of service by threatening people (not to mention threaten nuclear war). It would be hilarious if Twitter mods gave him a timeout.

Gee, one would think that would make you happy, no ?

President Trump’s “both sides” press conference about Charlottesville has been perhaps the most shocking moment in an administration already suffering from many self-inflicted wounds.
Cool, first paragraph is all that's needed.

He won't run.

He did have his nominee for the supreme court confirmed and that has changed the make up of the court swinging it right . To many that alone is worth the price of admission .

You might want to remind yourself Trump campaigned specifically to get out of Afghanistan.

One of the problems with campaign promises- the situation at the time they were made often doesn't endure very long. They should always be followed by "as long as the current situation remains"!

Right or wrong, Trump got a mandate from the American people to do these things,
Obamacare, out of wars, the wall, the economy, etc.
He also got a Republican House and a Republican Senate to carry out his promises.

It's the Republicans who will pay the price for failing to carry out these promises.
And the US will pay for it.
And we will pay for it, because the US will not go down alone.

That is why he is sending 4000 more troops? Can you not see the absurdity in that?
He can't get out of Afghanistan. They haven't finished plundering all the resources and Big Pharma still needs all those poppies.
