Pardon the length but what part of the verses below would not apply to somebody that is an observer and a 'son'?

Proverb:8:23-31 I was set up from everlasting,
from the beginning,
or ever the earth was.
When there were no depths,
I was brought forth;
when there were no fountains abounding with water.
Before the mountains were settled,
before the hills was I brought forth:
While as yet he had not made the earth,
nor the fields,
nor the highest part of the dust of the world.
When he prepared the heavens,
I was there:
when he set a compass upon the face of the depth:
When he established the clouds above:
when he strengthened the fountains of the deep:
When he gave to the sea his decree,
that the waters should not pass his commandment:
when he appointed the foundations of the earth:
Then I was by him, as one brought up with him:
and I was daily his delight,
rejoicing always before him;
Rejoicing in the habitable part of his earth;
and my delights were with the sons of men.

What the hell does this mean? Is this supposed to be JC talking?

Christians accept people my friend. It's when people hear the message that they're sinners and need God's forgiveness that they get all uppity and self-righteous because they would rather trust in their own "goodness" (which they don't have) rather than their creator. "Don't judge me". When people accuse Christians of not tolerating the sinner, what they're actually saying is "why won't you tolerate my sin?".

Sinner(person) vs sin(acts). There's a difference.

Prove it.
What utter hog wash. If you judge a person to be a sinner, then you are breaking the rules set by JC and you are being incredibly self righteous. By judging others you are saying your beliefs are superior to everybody who does not believe as you do - self righteous. There is no humility, no piety - arrogance. Your god is the only true god, your god will reward you and no me because you kiss his ass. You are like the blind man who stands near an elephant and grabs it testicles and thinks and thinks he knows what an elephant is.

You have no idea what the truth is because you did not earn it. If you would stop listening to those fundamental evangelical morons and look in the bible under what Jesus did before he started his ministry you will see the truth laid out in the story of how Jesus came to his enlightenment. It lays out in detail what you need to do to become worthy of the truth. You cannot just have it handed to you. That is not how it works, never has and never will.

Which anthem is the choir singing today?

There is no quote from Jesus in the Old Testament. You sound full of hate, I'll pray for you.

Walter, what planet are you from?
Mhz presented a passage from the OT to prove Jesus was the son of god. It has no relevance to what he and I were talking about. And you are being judgmental and self righteous.

I'll pray for you, anyway.

I won't; I'll pray for world peace. Don't want to waste a good prayer.

Q: Did Cain have two sisters? Maybe Cliff can double date.

Technically it was Christ I quoted. The same spirit that was in Jesus from conception.

Joh:8:58:
Jesus said unto them,
Verily,
verily,
I say unto you,
Before Abraham was, I am.

An an Angel of the Lord, Christ did put in several appearances, He was also the High Priest Abraham met. In the reading comprehension aspect does saying 'men' separate the 'speaker' from being one of them. (added because you fail to see the path I take to reach certain conclusions) Does this post help you see this part.

How can you claim (prove, I stand corrected) these were the words of Yeshua the Nazarene and not the words of a creative writer?

Is it logical that an all powerful God could raise someone from the dead? Yes.
Is it logical that an omniscient God hears our prayers and thoughts("telepathically" if that's what you want to call it)? Yes.
If God can create time, all space and matter, could he not create a human from dust or whatever he wishes? Of course!
It's actually illogical for you to conclude that an omniscient, omnipotent God could not do these things!
Yes, all those things are logical, granting the initial premise that there IS such a being, which I don't. Whatever follows from the premise can be perfectly logical and still be wrong if the premise is false, and all the evidence and argument I've ever encountered indicates it is. The only reason I'd conclude that he can't do those things would be because he doesn't exist, which IS perfectly logical.

Since Adopted believes in the literal "truth" of Genesis, that Cain married his sister, I would like to ask him and In-between if they believe rain falls because G*d opens the gates in the firmament.

That is your faith and others have their faith.
That is true. But seven billion different faiths cannot all be true.

I apologize for the redundancy.

If only God can raise somebody from the dead then, since I was able to establish a heart rhythm on a patient with no discernible heart rhythm (technically dead), I must be God. I feel special.

Is that the nickname for your wife?

No. Her title is SUPREME COMMANDER.

Christians only accept people they can convert to their religion. Any others they murder. Same with Islam. For proof one only has to look at what European invaders did to natives in N. America and Africa.

Tough shyte.... You're allowed your opinions. I'm allowed mine.

See post #301

Not if your opinion differs from the prescribed script.

And there are those who believe that Jesus was one in a long line of the incarnations of the same spirit - Krishna, Buddha, Horus, Jesus the Nazarene, Mohammed, etc.: Christ being a state of enlightened consciousness. I bet that will be a hard pill to swallow.
