american elections are too all consuming in their media. They really ought to limit the campaigning so people can see if there's something else that needs their attention.

Your right wingnut blog is short on facts and long on rhetoric. Will the ne regulations on coal bring them close to what Canada already has?

We all know that if it had been a Republican president the MSM would have been all over it............

And right there you shut down discussion, and make it about 'them versus us'. And nothing changes. Isn't that fun?

It clears all involved of ever needing to change what they're doing.

And of course MSM hasn't been one sided for at least the last ten twelve years....and people bitching about Sun and Fox is all good!

How unfair that Reps didn't get the chance to start a last minute smear campaign. So unfortunate.

We weren't told any details of Mittens Tax Plans for the tax payer's, Fiscal Plans, Job Creation Methods, How he would deal with America's #1 enemy Russia, His Healthcare and Social Insurance plans, His funding forpublic schools, his solution to post secondary costs, His personal tax issues...............well you get the point, and so does he because he lost by not laying out his solutions..........

The story of the General is a non story its a private matter and no one business except
his and his wife's As for some of the other stuff face it what ever you can play down in
an election so much the better. Compare his stuff with the material and answers on one
got about the Romney plans and they cancel each other.
I believe it would have made no difference, people made up their a week before the election
or earlier. I think we discussed earlier in the campaign the Democrats defined Romney better
than Romney defined himself. People saw what they wanted to see they heard what they
wanted to hear and Romney was not the focus in the mental picture of the voter.
There was no way Obama was going to lose. Think about it. there were less people coming
from the last campaign, so they worked on new voters a million more Hispanics and a million
more blacks, so if it got real tight there were more voters they could get out.
Republicans had a third of the field offices the Democrats had so they didn't have as detailed
a picture the Democrats did.
It was close, but final and all the whining in the world won't change the outcome.

We were never told of the numerous assaults on US Foreign Service facilities until Benghazi and that was reported by Reuters who is an off shore news source. If it wasn't for that source we may never have found out about any of this. Now, our top military have caught diddling the help and also some journalists? I'm sure there is a lot more too. Now that the elections are over I still expect the US citizens to be treated like they're growths in a Mushroom Farm. Kept in the dark and fed manure all day long. Things won't change until a revolts rares its head.

Over seas facilities were attacked and probably more than you know, the object of the game is
to not have the insurgents getting press time to influence an election by committing terrorist acts
and then having them play out during a campaign. Surely the Republicans had people inside the
operation itself in high government positions. Why did they say nothing? For the good reason
that they didn't want insurgents revitalized in a feeding frenzy.
There may be more actions that is the nature of a conflict I think the administration did a masterful
job in keeping these UN American activities quiet. The Republicans were so in the dark in their
campaign they couldn't find their behind with both hands and a flashlight in the dark.
In a war, you never make secrets public for the enemy to use or the enemy to stir up trouble for
your election in an open society. Again it wouldn't have made much of a difference the people were
going to elect Obama regardless. The irony is even if some people didn't come out that voted last
time Obama was able to find another two million voters that registered. Obama knew a week before
the election it would be close but they had enough votes to win. Romney was out organized and
it showed.

"Brace yourself for one of the most aggressive corporate lobbying campaigns of all time. And one of the most hypocritical," Sarah Anderson, Global Economy Project.

Have you so easily forgotten the $16 trillion bailout (our tax money) of our financial industry?

Jogging your memories:millions lost their homes, millions more lost their retirements, millions more, their jobs; school teachers, fire fighters, policemen were fired, classrooms are crowded. A generation of college graduates have no prospects and are burdened with debt they can't pay; millions added to food stamps, millions unemployed, millions living without healthcare and on and on because the Wall Street ****ers gambled away our country's resources.

The Bowles-Simpson “Fix the Debt" campaign is a coalition of more than 80 CEOs who claim they know best how to deal with our nation’s fiscal challenges. The group boasts a $60 million budget just for the initial phase of a massive media and lobbying campaign.

The irony is that CEOs in the coalition’s leadership have been major contributors to the national debt they now claim to know how to fix. These are guys who’ve mastered every tax-dodging trick in the book. And now that they’ve boosted their corporate profits by draining the public treasury, how do they propose we put our fiscal house back in order? By squeezing programs for the poor and elderly, including Social Security, Medicare, and Medicaid.

If the president is the first african american president the msm wants him to succeed at all costs because of some notion of social justice. If the president is a white republican he or she gets savaged by the msm. Double standards.
