What the Americans weren't told

If you need somebody to tell you that you are screwed as the nation crumbles around you, then there is no hope left for you or the nation.

America's public school system has failed to graduate people capable of critical analysis. That's a failure of the most fundamental order.
Are you not a product of the American public school system? Are you saying you are not capable of critical thought? Just askin'.

Politicians who lack factual data to make their point on an issue often use fallacies as a rhetorical tool, and they can be used purposefully to win arguments because they appeal to emotion and not reason. Devoid of facts to back up their arguments, Republicans have little option but appealing to emotions, but instead of fallacies, they intentionally deliver false statements and the payoff is nearly always not in the public’s best interest.

For the past year, the GOP has lied to the American people about the benefits of the Keystone XL pipeline, and as the President and Congress work to avoid the so-called fiscal cliff, there is little mystery that Republicans will use the pipeline’s approval as a bargaining chip to give the oil industry greater subsidies even as they attempt to cut their taxes.

The President and Democrats could protect the environment and Americans’ health if they informed the people that Canadian tar sand is not coming to America, but through it on its way to China and Europe.

Republicans Refuse to Admit that Keystone XL will Bring Oil Through America, Not to It

The gap between the woking class and the big money interests widens daily. Who ever heard of University CEO's getting a multi million dollar for a bonus when the institution is fighting to keep the doors open? OR the Fannie Mae and Freddie Mac CEO's getting a bonus for excellent service when their outfits are billions underwater? That is rewarding failure and we get the honor of paying the bills!

What I keep laughing about is the bit about Iran firing on an unarmed Drone that really is too funny.
What would you expect? If the drone is near them they would fire on it do you really think Americans
cared about that? They didn't get worked up about regulations or anything else. The Republicans
went from State to State laying out their program and the people wanted to keep their medicare
and other advances on the human agenda.
The more the people heard the less Americans liked Romney and the Republicans period. Lets look
at what Americans were told.

1 We will turn back the clock on Medicare vote for us
2 We will be hard on minorities Latinos in particular vote for us
3 We don't like forty seven percent of Americans vote for us
4 We will, no we won't do anything on abortion vote for us

The view they had of the Republicans was they were indecisive and for and against everything.
The sounded like the fringe movement was in charge of the party.
They pandered to the Born Again Movement
The Pandered to the Tea Party a fringe group with eighteenth century thinking.
There are other problems Walter but I think you get the picture people voted for Obama because he
was not part of the things listed above.
As soon as the Republicans adopt the Democrats agenda they could have a chance.
Face it for the next four years you have Obama, Medicare and Sane government
After that Hillary will be the first Woman President.

Perhaps the drones are the reason long-guns are being taken away, (known they were coming 20 years before today)
