Listen while I play-ay-ay-ay...my green tambourine...

That just needed to be said. I always say this to my wife when Bones declares someone dead.

We'll have to ask Cliffy what the drugs were that the government was putting in the mess hall food without our knowledge. He seems to have the market cornered on nonsensical responses, conspiracy theories and Indian lore.

In that vein, here's something from 1965. It's Herman's Hermits. Something Tells Me I'm Into something Good

He also has anger issues. While living in Onterrible can be difficult, I prefer it to other places on the planet. I get the feeling that AMKiller is younger. Because he lives around Toronto, he also feels that he is entitled to any healthcare he or his family requires. That has never been the case anywhere in Canada.
I'm entitled to the healthcare I pay for. $12,000 per year is a hell of a lot of money for shoddy healthcare.

I'm 45 years old.

No wonder you paid that much for health care....you have an NDP government....
I paid $400.. for Ontario health insurance..... then got that much in provincial tax rebates...

Paid that under the Liberal Gov't! that's annually!

The healthcare you are entitled to is outlined in the current legislation. If your powers of Google Foo are weak, you can phone your MPP and ask for that information.

At 45, I'm surprised that you would not have thought of this. Nevertheless, your interpretation is at odds with the government. This would be the body that controls and legislates healthcare in Ontario. They also collect the money and provide the services. Methinks you're getting your full entitlement.

You can always go to Buffalo any pay for additional services not listed in the Ontario regulations.

Bullcrap!!! With all the taxes we pay in Ontario? Oh I get it, you only count the healthcare premium. How stupid of you.

The amount of taxes paid has little to do with healthcare entitlements. Are you saying that the more you pay, the more you should receive? For that, I would also refer you to provincial government publications on healthcare entitlements and coverage.

Geez, they're are some stupid people here tonight. I think we can do better than the shoddy healthcare we have right now. I believe having people that can afford their own insurance will burden government shoddycare less, so it can become better while giving people the option to buy their own insurance.

Being a slave to the government may be fine by you but I don't want the government telling me what I can and can't expect from their shoddycare.

Of course it does, sheep, or at least it should, like any other type of insurance but I get the government has to look out for and coddle the losers and keep'em voting for them.

I'm saying, for $12,000 I can get better insurance and be covered for far more than what the government rations out. As it is I have to buy dental, eye and physiology insurance on top of the taxes I pay to the government.

What if I can't go to Buffalo? How about the losers go to Buffalo instead?

I see that your skills are lacking. I will explain.

You do not know your entitlements. You just enjoy whining about all the taxes that you pay and what you feel you should be entitled to receive. You're a whiner. I am giving you the tools to be more than a waste of skin.

First, become aware of the healthcare entitlements provided by the government to Ontarians. Learn about the present legislation.

Now that you are aware of what you can receive, it's time to find out if there is a group or organization that is fighting to change them in a way that suits you. If not, start one.

Finally, work to change it.

Whining is childish.

You are not understanding so let me explain it to you.

This is a debate forum, right?

I'm not whining, I'm making a point on how to make healthcare in Canada better for everyone.

Can I not work to change it by first explaining it in this forum and maybe find like-minded individuals?

Hope that helped?

You have to understand the system and entitlements before attempting to change it.
I understand the system and entitlements, I worked in healthcare for ten years. You will find many healthcare professionals that feel the same way I do about our system.
