Currently watching a classic Western, wanderers Gil Carter (Henry Fonda) and Art Croft (Henry Morgan) ride into a small Nevada town plagued by cattle thieves. Initially suspected of being the rustlers themselves, Carter and Croft eventually join a posse out to get the criminals, who also may be involved in a recent shooting. When the posse closes in on a group that could be the fugitives, they must decide on a course of action, with numerous lives hanging in the balance.

Episode 1: Instruments of Invasion



Dr Sam Willis looks at the history of the castle from its first appearance with the Normans in 1066 to the longest siege on English soil at Kenilworth Castle two hundred years later. The castle arrived as an instrument of invasion, but soon became a weapon with which unruly barons challenged the crown. Tintagel Castle, on the site where King Arthur is said to have been conceived, is also on the itinerary. It remains one of the most evocative of castles to this day, drawing visitors from around the world with its tales of myth and legend.

Barbara has lost her wedding ring, whilst Jim is trying to earn a fortune through scratch cards. Elsewhere, Dave has an idea of an invention that he is hoping of pitching on Dragons' Den, Joe is looking for love, and there's a new neighbour causing havoc in the Royle household.
