Program about the Devil on PBS.

Earlier, I watched this cult classic:

Not exactly the greatest screamer of all time but it sure has a great musical score in the background.

If you've not seen this movie, now's your chance.

A Field in England is a 2013 British psychological horror - shot in black and white - by the current master of British horror, director Ben Wheatley, who also gave us other recent very British horrors
Down Terrace, Kill List and Sightseers.

A Field in England

A Field In England is a psychedelic trip into magic and madness from Ben Wheatley - award-winning director of Down Terrace, Kill List and Sightseers.

The 17th Century. England during the English Civil War. A small group of deserters flees from a raging battle through an overgrown field. They are captured by two men: O'Neil and Cutler. O'Neil (Michael Smiley), an alchemist, forces the group to aid him in his search to find a hidden treasure that he believes is buried in the field. Crossing a vast mushroom circle, which provides their first meal, the group quickly descends into a chaos of arguments, fighting and paranoia, and, as it becomes clear that the treasure might be something other than gold, they slowly become victim to the terrifying energies trapped inside the field.

Co-starring Reece Shearsmith, well-known for being a member of horror-comedy quartet The League of Gentlemen.

How many of the questions can you answer correctly?

I watched Bad Country on Friday night...it wasn't bad.

When Baton Rouge police detective Bud Carter busts contract killer Jesse Weiland, he convinces Jesse to become an informant and rat out the South's most powerful crime ring. So when the syndicate orders Carter's death and Weiland's ID'd as a snitch, the two team up to take down the mob and the crime boss who ordered the hit.

Gopher state high school championships = Class A teams

Great fun!

Eden Prairie defeated Totino Grace H.S. for the Class A championship. EP is a four time state champion and is led by Mike Grant who is the son of retired Vikings coach Bud Grant. Its football program has been heavily financed by corporate backers and is among the Top 20 in the USA.

Totino Grace was given a large grant by the widow of the Totino Pizza company leader. This year it was inspired by a wonderful teen girl who passed away after a courageous battle against cancer:

^ one more word about Rachel - she referred to her beloved team mates as her "boys" - amazing that despite her youth, she had a great maternal attitude towards them. Small wonder why they loved her so much.

England's Last Battle: West Country

Tony Robinson hikes up from Dorset's Jurassic Coast to the Somerset Levels, in the footsteps of the dashing young Duke of Monmouth, who led a revolution against his uncle, the hated Catholic King James II, in 1685. The revolution led to the Battle of Sedgemoor - the last battle to have been fought on English soil - and the Bloody Assizes.

wherever i sit down my ars
Right now I am watching a football game which quite honestly, I'm starting to get burned out on sports programs. Yesterday though, I put a movie on the ole DVD player . It was 'A Beautiful Mind ' with Russell Crowe and Jennifer Connelly. I was paying attention To Crowes expressions. I also liked him in the movie Cinderella man. Crowes performance of a man suffering from schizophrenia I thought was exceptional. Especially his expressions of the pain of confusion and delusion of this particular mental illness. Good actor in my opinion.
