In other Afghanistan News, Tim Hortons will open a small franchise in Afghanistan. This could catch Bin Laden and his crew as the smell of good warm coffee and fresh baked doughnuts with sprinkles could draw them out of their caves.

The security of my nation doesn't end at our national borders. Sometimes we have to leave the safety of this nation to ensure our way of life endures. We've done it countless times in our history, and we'll do it countless more, it's the Canadian way.
Honestly? It makes me ill that Canadians have become so weak that they will neither acknowledge the dangers in the World that is presented to our nations, nor will they stand up and support the people on the frontlines. With that said, the "majority" of Canadians calling for an end to Afghanistan haven't a clue about the military or the situation in Afghanistan. Do you know what you call a person who makes claims and demands about something he has little to no actual knowledge in? A fool. The vast majority of Canadians are fools when it comes to the military and Afghanistan.

Yeah, walk in to 3 VP's building at CFB Edmonton and say that. For those that don't know, 3 VP is the Regiment in the Canadian Army that has lost the bulk of the soldiers in Afghanistan.

Yea its manned by canadians, but who pays for it and supplies your most northern stations. it isnt canada since they cant even really get supplies or troops up north. Just admit it the radar stations arent for you guys there for us. you work them so then you cant complain later

The hell? The dew line radar stations are unmanned brother. Also we pay for it, they're Canadian defence installations. In terms of resupply, the only manned part of the dewline is CFS Alert, the most Northern military installation in the World, and we resupply that.
