I('ll ask again

Do they need to cross the river to the side the cops are on to pray? Why can't they stand in the water on the side of the river that they are camping on? I'll tell ya why. They can't provoke the police as easily and it makes for better copy when they cross the river and get pepper sprayed.

Hint, if they don't cross the river, they won't get pepper sprayed.

“I was standing there, mid-conversation interviewing this peaceful Native-American man when all of a sudden I felt a blow of maximum force to my lower back and I had no clue what just happened,” Schrode told The News.

Facebookers stand with pipeline protesters, check in to N. Dakota
Turning around, Schrode said she saw an officer still pointing the barrel of his rubber bullet gun at her.

“Mr. President, while you’re waiting to see how it plays out, journalists are being shot and innocent protesters are being arrested,” she said. “This is a fight for so much more than just stopping one pipeline. This is about human rights, and also this is something that can be stopped.”

It is pointless to answer someone who is too lazy to read why they were crossing the river and too belligerent to care about people being abused.

SO far the only ones being abused are the pipeline workers whose jobs are being illegally taken from them.

I wonder if he is thinking about Victoria BC dumping raw sewage into the Pacific and it ends up on the coast of Oregon?
Actually it is into Jaun De Fuca Straight and ends up in Puget Sound Washington .
Ssshhh don't you know your geography ?

We already are part of it . I mow my lawn on a regular basis , is that taking care of the land ?

No, that is a waste of time, money, energy and space. Grow gardens, not lawns. Growing food would be more productive.
I remember when I lived in Arizona. There were lawns with thick, lush grass that folks spent endless time and money on. Then there were the smart people who did their lawns in sand, gravel, and local desert plants. Quite attractive, basically free to maintain.

Hello and Good Day
My name is Jeff Nanamkin. I'm a Wenatchi tribal member of the Colville Confederated Tribes.
I served 6 years on the Colville Indian Reservation as a Resource Enforcement Officer.
The actions I'm seeing from Morton County, North Dakota State Patrol, and the other law enforcement agencies dispatched to Standing Rock, the National Guard and DAPL security do not comply with legally acting law enforcement officers.
Yes they may have been through law enforcement training but this is the act of unlawful and unconstitutional enforcement acts.
The water protectors are not using weapons, force or threatened use of force to deserve to be beaten with riot control batons, bathed in pepper spray, hosed in tear gas, shot with rubber buckshot, tasered, or shot with 40 mm foam riot control rounds, or have flash bang grenades thrown at them.
Nor do these people deserve to be exposed to the LRAD, psyop warfare of constant flights of aircrafts and drones or being drowned in light every night.
They also do not deserve to be met by uparmored officers that look like they are responding to an active shooter situation. Nor do they need to constantly see heavy armored vehicles or snipers laying in wait for a green light to occur.
