It is true. My brother has a truck driving school. I would become a truck driver in a new york second, but my life is taking on different channels that will take me south... ( I plan on moving to Arizona by years end).
But what a life,,, I have a bit of the wanderlust in me... I love to travel.

That would be nice for you- a lot closer to the D.R.

Thank God! As a former Safety Supervisor & Compliance Officer for an International
Transportation Company, assuming that you actually have a clean Abstract, I could
only pray that you'd wash out in the interview. I've wound up interviews with Leased
Operators with them bragging about skills in falsifying Logs or multiple Logs, etc....

Well time to hit the 'mean' city streets, and of course take my cell phone,,
put my shades on (it is nice an sunny out there today), turn up the tunes and maybe smoke a fatty....

If you're going to do all that, could I suggest - for the well-being of your local citizenry - a good long walk and just leave the vehicle at home? The thought of a stoned cell phone junkie reverberating her way around the city while attempting to pilot a vehicle is a bit much to contemplate.

Yeah, and I'm worried about it breaking free, plunging to the basement, and hurting someone! Sorta' like those cannons coming loose on ships' decks back in days of yore!

You trollin'?

Based on your posts the idea of someone like you on the road is downright scary. What is it with cell phones that makes them so impossible to put down (even for other's safety), I just can not understand the need to text/talk every minute of every day. I hope the law continues to be enforced and perhaps a steeper fine could do well. I simply do not trust people driving with the distraction of a cell phone regardless of whether or not they've ever had any accidents yet.

This thread has gone kind of quiet, wondering if one of the main participants "went somewhere".:lol::lol::lol::lol::lol::lol::lol::lol::lol:

LOL!

Back on topic, Global News was saying tonight that the number of accidents had dropped in Toronto during the blitz by the police.

Pretty soon the use of anything but 1st gear in a standard will be outlawed.
