Surprised.. I am not....
I stand by my driving record, and why not, if you are applying for a job pertaining to driving you need a clean abstract, and the cleaner the better, and it does carry a lot of impact on you getting hired.
No one swerves around me,,, I am usually the one swerving around some idiot that did not learn the one simple rule ....."Look out for the other driver,, and eyes straight ahead,, check mirrors every two seconds or so.... ".
I am not a person that is afraid to drive, am not a weather permitting kind, I am a driver, and very good.
Cell phone use is not breaking a law, it is a moving violation,,, no one is going to go to jail people... so get over yourselves.
A moving violation, (speeding, using a cell phone, going through a red light) is breaking the law. The sentence is just a fine, not jail time.

How wrong you are. You obviously don't understand hoe the system works.
One example:
Section 128 of the Ontario Highway Traffic Act is a law enacted to deal with speeding.

Speeding Ticket Law - Ontario Highway Traffic Act,Speeding ticket, Law about Speeding Tickets in Ontario, Canada
Why so concerned it is my life,, therefore not yours to live. or what I do with it. You seem too dull to live my life.
I also walk my own path, and like I said will deal with consequences if and when they come to me... I am a big girl now.... fretting is not my style.
or getting my knickers in a knot because someone does not live to my code, or does not live by the book.

nope because you are wrong and I am right...

If it is a traffic violation, it is a violation because a law says so. A traffic violation is breaking the law.

You might want to go back to law school when you're finished driving that truck.

It won't be considered a 'criminal conviction', but it is breaking the law.
If it wasn't breaking a law, you couldn't be given a ticket.

Do they exempt Police, Firefighters and Judges from this law up there?

Whenever we have a law like this the Politicians are afraid to make it across the board. They usually give those three groups special exemption to laws like this.

First time I ever heard that you have to be a lawyer or equivalent to one to drive a truck....
Not a law you can be convicted of. And some rules in life are meant to be broken... don't be such a stiffy... you will never stay young or enjoy life with such a stoic and by the books attitude. It is the movers and the shakers, risk takers that own the world, and the road.

Before you go to law school, perhaps you should learn to read.

I never said you had to be a lawyer to drive a truck, I was merely pointing out that if you think that a 'moving violation' is NOT breaking the law, you should go back to law school, because you obviously misheard something.

Maybe you can drive, maybe not, but I sure hope your driving skills are better than your understanding of the law or the written word.

Don't claim to be an expert, unless you actually know what you're talking about.

I do hope you are not a hypocrite and follow your own advise on these so called words of wisdom...lol!
You should,, because to assume shows your lack of understanding, and knowledge on most anything...
have a nice day...assuming and all.
I am going to go enjpy the sun, beautiful city, and love is in the air.

I'm not concerned about your life in the least, but I am concerned about the life of all the potential victims around you when you break the law.

Laws, or the 'book' are in place for a reason. If you are a big girl you should know that.

One of the drawbacks of this new legislation is the deluge of douche bags wearing those hideous bluetooth earpieces. They remind of props from Star Trek

Why so concerned? Because there are a lot of people have to share a road with you ... and it sounds like you don't share well. I bet you'd be the first to point fingers and blame the other guy.
