you know what strange with that motto... the guy who said it... has his place in Vermont.Well they did have the winter Olympics in Lake Placid, New York twice but they had all the right stuff in place to start it. The State of New Hampshire would have to invest tens of millions of it's OWN MONEY (meaning yours in the form of taxes) in it's infrastructure to even be considered and compete against world class cities. I doubt even the folks in NH would want that risk and NH does not like taxes.
Live Free or Die baby! That's the NH State moto for those that don't know... minus the "baby".
I live in Massachusetts and I did not lose power.
Meh all states have tax nothing new to me. I am sure there be plenty that would oppsed it, but plenty would support it as well. Life free or die is nh motto right on our licenses plate.
"Live Free or Die" is the official motto of the U.S. state of New Hampshire, adopted by the state in 1945.[1] It is possibly the best-known of all state mottos, partly because it speaks to an assertive independence historically found in American political philosophy and partly because of its contrast to the milder sentiments found in other state mottos."
