I changed your list to start 4 years earlier.

It's not like North America or the US for that matter has been shafted on hosting the Olympics, from 1980 on
1976 Summer (Montreal)
1980 Winter (Lake Placid)
1984 Summer (Los Angeles)
1988 Winter (Calgary)
1996 Summer (Atlanta)
2002 Winter (Utah)
2010 Winter (Vancouver)

Well...you did a little.

"You can come across the border and see our gold medals"

Sorry, that aint gonna fly round here...not with hockey. But nevermind all that. It is good to be proud and enthusiastic but you have to take your lumps around here being an American on a Canadian forum.

And so what if they don't want us to bid...it'll save a lot of US cities money.
\

that was in all fun there a reason i used the wink ;) that means i am joking. when i used a face :D it means its a joke. I don't care if you want to fly or not. it was a joke from the start. why should i be soft on people when they were never from the start?

Just trying to find something to disagree with.........

"Your goalie is super hot and in my uniformed opinion, better than ours."

Not true. Luongo has had seven shutouts this year so far, against four shutouts by Ryan Miller. In the Olympic final game Luongo let in two shots and Miller let in three. Luongo also has a better car.just.kidding about the car

We're talking Canadian Hockey here. Ya gotta pick your battles son.

why should i be soft on people when they were never from the start?

Well that's your call Critter. In my experienced opinon, being a CanCon Veteran, you rubbed the good folks wrong as well as the bad ones.

how about mt wasington or manchester nh or something along those lines. come to my state hack i rather have it in boston... than vermont.

MANCHESTER NH! You can't be serious! Granted you have the mountains for skiing but you need a REAL capital city for a host city.

BOSTON?! Where? We have the Blue Hills for skiing, 2 trails and open all winter! Take that Canada! Although the slolum runs would be as short as 15 seconds. As far as the Summer Olympics there is really no place to build an Olympic collesium.

Boston got doped slapped for even suggesting the idea of hosting the Olympics to the USOC.

VERMONT!

Where do you want the Olympic City? Rutland?!

Vermont is about as rural as it gets.

Come to New Hampshire its much better no sales tax , and its be like when the persident or election come around where the "first in the nation"

"
The New Hampshire primary is the first in a series of nationwide political party primary elections held in the United States every four years, as part of the process of choosing the Democratic and Republican nominees for the presidential elections to be held the subsequent November. Held in the small New England state of New Hampshire, it traditionally marks the opening of the quadrennial U.S. presidential election.
Although only a few delegates are chosen in the New Hampshire primary, its real importance comes from the massive media coverage given New Hampshire and Iowa; in recent years the two states received about as much media attention as all other state primaries combined. An example of this massive media coverage has been seen on the campus of Saint Anselm College, as the campus has held multiple national debates and have attracted media outlets like Fox News, CNN, NBC, and ABC. The publicity and momentum can be enormous from a decisive win by a frontrunner, or better-than-expected result in the New Hampshire primary. The upset or weak showing by a front-runner changes the calculus of national politics in a matter of hours, as happened in 1952 (D), 1968 (D), 1980 (R), and 2008 (D)."

anyways bring it to us, well take care of you all :)

I actually know a lot about NH as I live just south of NH. It is a great state and I love the White Mountains and I've never met a person from NH that I didn't like.

I'm just saying that the IOC goes for International capital cities. Look at the places that they have them. LA, Moscow, London, Montreal, Athens, etc.

LOL, this is turning into a joke. New Hampshire??? You need facilities, boy, rinks for hockey, short track, long track. You need a stadium for opening and closing ceremonies. tou need a sliding track for bobsled, ski hills. You need places for them all to stay, etc, etc. I've been to new hampshire, there ain't nothing there...

shhh that why we need to change things. i don't care if you got enough effort you can get thigns done. yet it might be a huge traffic night mare but meh there plenty of place could be done.

where you live anyways? (state wise) i know its very unlikely the olympics will ever come here. the closet would be new york... the olympics are now getting bigger and bigger, more people watching etc...

i like to see us get some more nation attention did you lose power yourself with that wind strom?

Well they did have the winter Olympics in Lake Placid, New York twice but they had all the right stuff in place to start it. The State of New Hampshire would have to invest tens of millions of it's OWN MONEY (meaning yours in the form of taxes) in it's infrastructure to even be considered and compete against world class cities. I doubt even the folks in NH would want that risk and NH does not like taxes.

Live Free or Die baby! That's the NH State moto for those that don't know... minus the "baby".

I live in Massachusetts and I did not lose power.
