Television? Hmmmm.... Were Paul Nipkow and Vladimir Zvorykin Scots?
I support this boycot. I will still drink Scotch, but I won't enjoy it as much....;-)
For goodness sakes! Don't those sound like scottish names to you? Mac Nipkow and Mc Zvorykin. There now - all fixed. :lol:Television? Hmmmm.... Were Paul Nipkow and Vladimir Zvorykin Scots?
What - we have to give up Mc Raunchy's?Flannel shirts will look awful plain without the plaid.
I suppose you can call Rotten Ronnies just that ... or Donald's....

Let them boycott. Scotland has the authority to release a man that is terminally ill and going to die anyways. Kind of a waste of time to boycott in my mind......
Bagpipe, bagpipes...? Are they some kind of weird prophylactic?
If other countries boycotted the US every time they did something stupid with regards to international terrorists, nobody would buy anything American at all...
Indeed they are. My father-in-law is a Scot and I believe bagpipes are an "aural contraceptive" in that no woman will remain within 5 miles once you start fingering your chanter. I also believe that is why the long dangly bits are called "drones"....:lol:
I didn't know Alexander Grahm Bell was Scottish.
So was Alexander Fleming, EagleSmack. He discovered antibiotics. And also James Watt (who invented the steam engine). If USA really decided to boycott all things Scottish, they will revert back to the Stone Age.
Spade, for a small country Scotland has produced many world famous personalities, I would say way out of proportion to its tiny population.
