So this is before the results are in so I wonder about upsets and how many Wackos or Wackoids (Group of Wackos AKA Known as the Borg) are elected.

With the Tea Party - Freaks are US - How many will get the nod or the Hanging Tree?

IMO. The GOP takes the House, The Democrats keep the Senate.

Locally

In my state, Massachusetts... Massachusetts sends all the Democrats back to Washington and all the Democrat state reps back the Mass Statehouse... Deval Patrick (D-Gov) gets reelected and the electorate votes to keep high taxes. We had two tax rollback questions on the ballot.

The average person has no idea the complexities of the issues they are voting for.
We had a woman Prime Minister for about thirty seconds, and during an election
campaign said, During elections issues should not be discussed. People thought
she was nuts, but during this election and the last one in Canada I am wondering
if she doesn't have a point. I have never heard so many distortions of the truth
from all sides. The Tea Party is financed by ultra right wing petroleum hustlers,
and people who want the New World Order. This is a grass roots party my foot,
it has all the illusions of that, but like all other illusions there is little truth and no
substance

This is just the liberal fear mongering. Trying to scare everyone.

"Ooooo... the Tea Party is coming to get you"

C'mon Grumpy... you're smarter than that.

Now you cannot be a fan of the tea party - Lots of wackos - If it was a painting it would be mainly white with very little color - They want the US of the 1950 - God and the US - We are right - I mean way to the right - also voters are angry as hell.So some have nowehre to go but the Tea Party.

I am not a member of the Tea Party but I am not of the side that says they are the whackos. It isn't as white as you think. That is just typical lefty whacko liberals trying to scare their base.

In fact if the numbers hold... South Carolina is sending their first African-American Republican Congressman to Washington in 114 years! Tim Scott is supported by the Tea Party.

So... you were saying?

This election has all the ear marks of a D grade Holliweird movie. Lots of loud noises and no substance. 99% of all that noise is coming from an electorate that is just emotionally reacting to BS propaganda from idiots like Beck and Palin.

I stated mostly white with a little color? Wackos come in all shades - Just as Black Americans overwhelmingly support Obama - it s coming down to race, religion regarding the Mosques, and back to the glory days. The thing is there is no simple answerer and the US economy and the people are going to pay for Bush and Obama's policies.

Regarding the Tea Party - It does appear to have a number of wackos compared to the Dems and shunted aside many good Republicans in the Primaries - Agree or disagree?

Well the Democrat Party is mostly white as well. If results are correct... they did not come out and support his party.

The thing is there is no simple answerer and the US economy and the people are going to pay for Bush and Obama's policies.

Ain't that the truth.

Again... whackos... simply fear mongering and marginalizing by the left and the Dems have just as many whackos. What was unique about the Tea Party was that conservatives are not as good as organizing as the liberals are. The Tea Party was very unique as the right finally found their vocal chords. The Democrats for the first time in my lifetime found themselves on the other side of the picket line and they did not like that. So they responded by calling them racist and right wing religious whackos. What else is new?

Yes, they did kick some of the old GOP party members out... the ones that got us in this mess to begin with (during the Bush years) as we both agree on... true?

Looks like the GOP has taken back the House of Representatives... with CNN reporting.

Well if you take a hard look at the TP you see a lot of hate - If you take a look at the new house and Senate what answers will the repubs have - As David Frum - a moderate, disowned by Hard right repubs stated, they win this election and then what - They will be forced to cut spending, raise taxes and if the US grinds to a halt on spending, why they are laying themselves out for Obama - He is thinking 2012 - Do the repubs have the balls to take the ard road that is needed? I am afraid not - And neither do the Dems.

A Trillion Dollars a year are fore casted as deficits - You cannot spend hundreds of billions for decades without the bills eventually showing up at your door.

The TP has more fringe Fukups than the Dems do. loose cannons - See how they react to the reality of Power.

Now wait and see what the repubs do. No one will make the hard decisions - Spending cuts, job retraining, new economy - 2 years of gridlock which adds 2 trillion to the deficit.

Obama care - pres veto
Medi care - core constituents of the repubs - Check the numbers.

Hispanics - Well with the Hard line on this line Arizona they will lose this group for 20-30 years

i would not take this as any endorsement on the repubs as Obama took his election as an endorsement - Both were voters tired of all the corruption and lining of pockets by both parties.

What about Rubio in florida????

Yes, Rubio... a Latino candidate and was backed by the Tea Party and has absolutely crushed the opposition. Nevertheless the left will continue to call the Tea Party whackos and racist. What else can they do?

There is even rumors that some would like him to run for the presidency....
Wouldn't that be something for the democrats to swallow ...a tea party candidate having a shot at the presidency:lol:

Well I would have to check him out - What about, Meek i think that split the vote and cost Grist the election?

Yes... Meek was the African-American Candidate that won the Democrat Primary in Florida fair and square. The Democrat National Committee sent Bill Clinton to convice Meek to drop out of the race so the Dems could through their support behind Crist who is a white male. That's kind of racist isn't it?

I am saying this with a little bit of tongue and cheek.

Well if you take a hard look at the TP you see a lot of hate -

Thats what you see. I see the far left spewing hate. I have for years.

If you take a look at the new house and Senate what answers will the repubs have -

We'll see. If if they fail they get tossed out again.

As David Frum - a moderate, disowned by Hard right repubs stated, they win this election and then what - They will be forced to cut spending,

HELL YEAH! And that is what they are running on! They NEED to cut spending. Everyone knows that. That is why they got elected.

raise taxes

They better not. Besides. They can't. Obama has VETO power. They won but not enough to over ride his veto.

and if the US grinds to a halt on spending,

The US NEEDS to halt spending. It is imperative.

why they are laying themselves out for Obama - He is thinking 2012 - Do the repubs have the balls to take the ard road that is needed? I am afraid not - And neither do the Dems.

Yes he is... and so isn't the GOP. They aren't laying out for Obama. This election isn't an Obama trap. Life just got a little more difficult for Obama. Gone are the days of gloating and saying

"Rupublicans can come along...but they have to ride in back."

... the Dems missed that opportunity.

A Trillion Dollars a year are fore casted as deficits - You cannot spend hundreds of billions for decades without the bills eventually showing up at your door.

I agree. You can't. But Bush did... and Obama continued to do so. So now it is time to CUT CUT CUT.

The TP has more fringe Fukups than the Dems do. loose cannons - See how they react to the reality of Power.

No, they don't. Again, liberals never warmed up to being yelled at and dealing with protests. They are the ones who usually do the yelling and protesting. Democrats and liberals are having a hard time with conservatives speaking out.

Now wait and see what the repubs do. No one will make the hard decisions - Spending cuts, job retraining, new economy - 2 years of gridlock which adds 2 trillion to the deficit.

Spending cuts... not a hard decision.

Job retraining... I haven't heard that being talked about by either party. Jobs... Yes

How can gridlock add to the deficit. Gridlock can stop things but can't add to it. Congress has to approve spending. If the budget is not approved, the govt. isn't spending.

Obama care - pres veto
Medi care - core constituents of the repubs - Check the numbers.

?

Hispanics - Well with the Hard line on this line Arizona they will lose this group for 20-30 years

Who?

i would not take this as any endorsement on the repubs as Obama took his election as an endorsement - Both were voters tired of all the corruption and lining of pockets by both parties.

I would think that you are probably right. If I was a member of the GOP I wouldn't dance and gloat like The Democrats did in 2006 and 2008. You saw what happened to them tonight.

Hispanics - Well with the Hard line on this line Arizona they will lose this group for 20-30 years

.

Well Arizona is looking pretty darn red tonight. According to the map 100% red except Pheonix.

A lot of people believe the re-emergence of the GOP in the House is a sign of Obama's failure. I'm not sure that's entirely true. Seems to me more of a Pelosi failure. She never rallied her troops, took no leadership when others were calling for Bush's impeachment, failed to stand up for Obama's HCR efforts, and never countered the barrage of propaganda from the far right in re to the deficit and recession inherited from Bush which is being falsely attributed to Obama.
