Biden is projected to win Mississippi and Missouri, continuing to triumph in primaries against Sanders a week after Super Tuesday

Former vice president Joe Biden has won primaries in the first two states where polls have closed tonight, according to a projection from Edison Media Research based on exit polling. Sen. Bernie Sanders lost both states in 2016 — Mississippi by a lot and Missouri by a hair — and had canceled an event in Mississippi last week.

Seems like folks are hunkering for a senile old man that is controlled behind the curtain .

Biden defeats Sanders in Florida, largest delegate haul of the night, NBC News projects.
Joe Biden defeats Bernie Sanders on Tuesday in the Democratic primary in Florida, which has the fourth most delegates of any state, NBC News projects.

The victory in a state with 219 delegates up for grabs helps Biden increase his delegate lead over Sanders, which stood at 871 to 719 at the start of the night, according to NBC News. Illinois and Arizona also were voting, and Biden had polling leads in both states.
