I can appreciate your outrage, on any day, however I am a little hesitant to support your suggestion as a solution to the problem.
"If it were up to me, I'd drench each and every stupid SOB in napalm and light em up!"
Execution would be better for everybody rather than prison where corruption might lessen their punishment , and it's cheaper..... why Chinese over Gitmo like facilities?

Well, I was angry at the time. I've since calmed down and I can assure you I wouldn't drench anyone in naplam and light them up. I've heard the Chinese don't treat prisoners as well as the US treats suspected terrorists. Same with the N. Koreans.

I just happened along to stoke the fire, seems to be my best (most consistent) quality. lol

Why the US military had to be at the opening ceremonies of a school that had already been bombed (and rebuilt) must have been public knowledge.

It's when you stop feeling outrage over incidents like this that you really have a problem.

I doubt a shoplifter sent to jail in China is tortured endlessly and killed before his sentence is over.

You would get treated quite differently if you were a foreigner caught with a van full of explosives.

Reread my first post about the issue. It says, "I just heard it on the news that insurgents hit a Pakistani school and killed 3 kids and 3 US soldiers on a training mission.
What in the FµCK is the matter with those assholes doing a training mission at a school and WTF is the matter with those assholes that bombed the school!! If it were up to me, I'd drench each and every stupid SOB in napalm and light em up!
I think absolutely everyone involved with having soldiers near schools should be convicted of war crimes and spend the rest of their scummy lives in a Chinese jail."

I did read that and I just informed you that it was not like they were having a training mission at the school. It was a convoy that was rammed by a car and the blast killed nearby children. You blame the soldiers just as much and call them stupid. I was once one of those "neanderthal grunts" and I am biting my tongue a lot.

There isn't much I can say about that without dragging this in the mud and I don't want to do that with you. You're on my buddy list remember.

If they didn't want kids getting killed because of their presence and they had any smarts they wouldn't have gone near where kids would be.

Honesty Anna...how the heck did they know a guy was going to ram them there. How many schools in the town? Markets? Housing? Hospitals? You know if it was up to the soldiers they'd rather duke it out in the hills and wastelands. The insurgents like to set off IEDs and car bombs in populated areas.

"The US soldiers, who the embassy said were training paramilitary troops, were travelling in a convoy with local troops, journalists and officials to the opening of the girls' school when the roadside bomb exploded."
"
Local journalist Mohammad Israr, who was in the convoy, told AFP that the US soldiers were in civilian clothes. "They were travelling in a vehicle behind our pick-up," he said.
"The bomb exploded with a deafening sound, there was smoke in my vehicle also. The windshield of our pick-up was smashed and a piece of glass hit my forehead, I was bleeding."

Pakistan school bombing kills US soldiers, children - Yahoo! News

"
"We claim responsibility for the blast," Tehreek-e-Taliban Pakistan (TTP) spokesman Azam Tariq said in the call from an undisclosed location.
"The Americans killed were members of the Blackwater group. We know they are responsible for bomb blasts in Peshawar and other Pakistani cities."
Islamist networks in Pakistan routinely blame bomb attacks, which the authorities say were carried out by Taliban-linked factions, on Americans.
Richard Holbrooke, the special US representative for Afghanistan and Pakistan, later denied the military trainers worked for Blackwater and said his information was that they had not been "directly targeted". ? "

Yeah, and I was angry when I posted it. And at the time I posted it, the news was that the military was doing a training mission at the school. Now it is apparent that they were just driving by the school. If it were me, they would not be near schools in the first place.
You blame the soldiers just as much and call them stupid.
Yup. Because, IMO, if one is military and does not want civilians to be killed because one is a target, it makes sense to not go near civilians.
I was once one of those "neanderthal grunts" and I am biting my tongue a lot.
Well, I applaud your self-control.

I know. And normally I have a lot of respect for some miltary personnel, but I sure have none for those military personnel.

Then why not plan their routes in those places rather than where kids might possibly get killed because of "collateral damage"?
"Oh shyte! Here comes a bear! Well, I'll just hide behind Eaglesmack and not bother to tell him there's a bear coming."
The insurgents like to set off IEDs and car bombs in populated areas.
Why do they choose those areas? It couldn't be that one of the reasons is because their enemy wanders around in these areas, could it? I know they are indiscriminate, but I also know they like to target opposing military.

The only encouraging out-come to this story is the fact three US soldiers got killed.

A shame the kids were taken but hey, not a bad score when you compare the number of innocents that die vs `enemy` from US air-strikes.

Civilian infrastructure are the prime targets simply because there you will find civilians. It does not matter to the drone geeks, the heat signatures validate the targets and the button is pushed. It's is not individuals that are targeted it is civilian assemblies, free assembly is the target. This strategy denies congregation and sows discord and promote disinformation. The indiginous communication network is the target. It is impossible to conduct a war without civilians. You can have battles without them but then there is no prize and therefore no win..

Still spreading hate, huh? What's the diff between someone like you and someone like Zundel or anyone else spewing hatred for a certain group of people?

The way I see it, with every dead US soldier, 10 or more children over there may live to see adulthood. Is that a bad thing to hope for?

Nope. But then I think that because those 10 kids may be spared is incidental to your hatred of Americans. And your numbers are off. How many US soldiers were there? Lots. How many kids were killed? 3.

Putting it on credit is not really buying, it probably also get you the cheapest and lest safe products they have (by your choice since the ones that pay their bills). All they would have to do is blockade themselves for 6 months and North America would be empty of people.

People are paying cash these days, the credit industry has dropped considerably in the past 3 months. Yet sales of stuff keep going on and on.

Could be 5 children in the incident below who knows. same link
"Late Tuesday, up to 10 unmanned US drone aircraft launched about 18 missiles on hideouts and training camps in five isolated settlements of the Dattakhel area in tribal North Waziristan, killing 31 people, mostly Islamist militants."

Don't you like Doug Rokke's version of the dangers?
Do a google image seach for "du birth defects"

You can read that it is totally harmless to it will destroy the world. DU was used in the 1st Gulf War extensively, nothing like blowing up a tank hiding behind a 30ft thick sand berm. They really are quite impressive. But back then no one knew what long term effects would be. Today technology has moved on.
