UAVs are much better than "carpet bombing". There is bad people in the world that hate freedom and countries like ours. They need to be dealt with. Yes its bad that civilians get hurt but how soon people forget 911 and the thousands that were lost. Personally I like the technology. uavbase.com has a video of an actual uav strike. I'm not kidding at all. They are great invention. How about you go talk to the terrorists and stop them from doing their barbaric acts. Then we would not have to use them. Or do you support terrorism? These UAVs save soldiers from going in and risking their lives to take out the bad guys. What is your solution to stopping them? Send them pizza?

If these people hate free countries, why aren't they also hostile toward Sweden or Iceland? These countries are also free and democratic, yet they don't seem to have any one threatening them.
One difference between the US and countries like Sweden and Iceland is foreign policy. Those two countries don't invade other countries, steal their resources or prop up unpopular dictators. Maybe the US should become more like Sweden and Iceland and people on the receiving end of American foreign policy might stop hating the US.

Speaking of not having a grip on the real world. How do you think it is possible for you to live your lifestyle while the majority of humanity lives in abject poverty? Why do you think half the world hates the Americans and now, because of our misguided involvement in Afghanistan, they hate us too? If it wasn't for the west exploiting and interfering in the politics of so many nations to support that exploitation, you would not be eating cheep fruit and veggies, burning cheep oil, etc. War is the major industry of the west and untold millions have died horrible deaths so the you can sit at your computer and call them terrorists for trying to protect themselves from the west.
As I have said before, if a civilian population is supporting my enemy, they are not innocent.
...then you`ll understand and accept the civillion death toll next time theres an attack on American soil while they sing "We Support Our Troops".
