Other than moonwalk this overrated clown leaves NOTHING to this world. Let him die a well deserved death. Children will be happy everywhere.

Coming from the guy who gets all worked up about a comedian wishing that Rush Limbaugh would croak.

Also, what sort of Christian would state that someone's death is well deserved?

"Since this thread is about Michael Jackson, I'll say that he was a great songwriter and a performer at the same time. A lot of the songs he sang were written, produced, performed and choreographed by Michael himself. This does not require a debate, because millions upon millions around the world agree with that."

Andem, produce a single title that Micheal Jackson wrote/sang you would sing to your sweetheart.Or your children. Or sing in the shower. Or whistle while you work.

GOOD LUCK!!

If and when you are overdosed on drugs, your death is well deserved.

I feel much the same as you, Y.J. but I don't get any particular pleasure in denigrating him- the man made a lot of money selling music and you can't argue with his popularity among some factors. Otherwise the man is a lost soul in pretty all aspects of life, even to the point of physically defiling himself. The world is going to hell in a handcart, mostly perpetrated by the likes of those who support Jackson.

Right, your hypocrisy is shining through again. So it's alright for Rush to abuse over the counter drugs but not Michael Jackson?

I can't buy into that theory Y.J. I hate drugs, have been personally adversely affected by a family member's use of them - it's the pushers who deserve to die. For the user it's a vehicle to escape their demons.

How much damage did MJ do in that Pepsi commercial? Pain is one HELL of a motivator ... and burns hurt....

I *just* did. Billie Jean, Beat It, Earth Song, Man in the Mirror.

Why do you have to bash people because they have different tastes in music? His death brought several high profile web sites DOWN and overall Internet traffic was at all time highs because of it.

His legacy, music and cultural impact will endure despite what you think or say.

Be that as it may, his legacy will NEVER measure up to that of Frank Sinatra, Dea n Martin, Johnny Mathis, Nat King Cole, The Beatles, Beach Boys and hundreds of others. He did the Moon Walk. Period. Melodies or tunes he left behind?? NONE!

If he had been white to begin with (not by self-hating plastic surgery) he would have been a great big zero nobody.

Michael Jackson, murdered by banksters

Michael Jackson lived his whole life surrounded by vipers. They would set him up in compromising positions, have a series of families of 'victims' sue him, portray him in the mass media as a serial pedophile thus denying him any defense (of course, even with all the negative publicity, the families kept sending the children over), force him to settle the lawsuits, and then lend him the money to pay them, all on the security of his once considerable assets. This process of stealing his money went on for years, until there was nothing left to steal. They then came up with the idea of having the frail Jackson pay everything off with a huge concert tour, one that neither they nor Jackson thought he could physically survive. If he didn't do it, they would seize all his assets and ruin him. Essentially, they decided to go for the age-old solution, the pound of flesh. Jackson would pay them off with his life.

Due to his many health scares, it became impossible to insure Jackson for th

"His legacy, music and cultural impact will endure despite what you think or say."- Maybe, maybe not, that genre appeals to a select group, I predict that genre will lose popularity over time, but hey, I'm no music expert, I just personally can't see an attraction any of it- never could see the appeal in heavy metal crap.

By listing those examples, all you're doing is defining the demographic that you fit into. One of the reasons that music is so familiar is because it's so familiar. Elevator music, radio stations everywhere...it gets played a lot because it's inoffensive background music that appeals to a certain age.

I never liked MJ's music, from the beginning to the end. But he was good at his craft, and if you take the time to read any of these threads, you'll see that there are a lot of dedicated fans. His music never spoke to me, so it wasn't something that I paid any attention to, but millions of people enjoyed it.

You have to keep a couple of things in mind about old Y.J. - he can be a little dogmatic at times, a little stubborn, and although he's pretty knowledgable on just about everything, there is one or two things where he could use a refresher course.

"Yesterday my daughter and I pulled out a guitar and played Beat It."

About 20-25 years ago my son and daughter played a much better version of same, performed by a far more talented performer, Weird Al Yankowich, "Eat it!"

It died then and there. Same as anything Jackson did twenty-five years ago and since.

The buzzards of money have lit on his carcass to pluck and gorge what they didn't get while he was alive and if the life and death of Elvis is any indication of the gory feasts drawing power, the vile meal will last for decades.

You can't pin that one on us..it was his handlers and managers, bunch of damned leeches. Even this dense poster realized MJ could no longer perform like he did in his prime & shouldn't have been pressured into the 50 concert dates.
