Another nice thing about Alzheimers is that you meet new people every time you sit down for breakfast.

The best part about Alzheimers is when you lose the ability to feed yourself, and you get to spend your time in a wheelchair or bed, being spoonfed every meal, and not being able to tell if you're eating potatoes or paper napkins.

You'll enjoy it tremendously.

Also, you only need one book in your library.

Bush was never a conservative and the root of the 2008 debacle is traced all the way back to the 70's and Carter; you can look it up.

Republicans in the US are generally identified as Conservatives while Democrats are generally identified as Liberals.... thus Bush was Republican / Conservative.

Republicans like to be more conservative towards things like spending money on its citizens, restricting freedom on personal choice such as same sex marriages & abortions, they usually base most of their principles on religious dogma, etc.

Democrats are generally viewed as the opposite where they're more liberal towards personal freedoms like the mentioned above, they generally like to spend more money on the public, etc.

And hell, if you want to try and trace the fault as far back as possible, why not place the blame on the chimp that evolved into the first human?

Maybe that's a bit too drastic.... how about blaming it all on the Great Depression?

Perhaps one should also look at the wage rates in some of the business friendly states that are showing increases in employment. Manufacturing facilities are closing in states with high wag rates and taxes and moving to friendlier climates.
An article I was reading about this in a union magazine, which we all know would never be biased claims $25+ jobs are moving to areas where the populace is happy to earn $14.

That probably makes sense- the Rebubicans may be more about working while Democrats are more about programs! A lot of the Republican States, the interior and mid west are more labour intensive, I think.

As I said. It is more about selective use of data. The Republicans control the majority of US states. Why didn't the article list all of them?

The logical conclusion is that having Obama as pres, with Republicans running the states, is a good thing.

Add Congress to that and we have a deal...

A New Deal! :)

Holy crap, New Hampshire has a ridiculous amount of state representatives...

If memory serves me right they are only part time as well. They need to have another job and I think that is not a bad idea.

Ever been to Massachusetts? You'd see that Democrat theory go right out the window. All the Democrats do here is ban personal freedoms and take money from working people.

Since the global recession, the unemployment in the US and the crap that led up to it all occurred when Bush was in office, that makes a load of sense.

Real logical indeed.

Bush and his group creates the problem, Obama has the buck passed to him to fix the problem.... and he gets all the blame as well while everybody preaches on about how great the Republicans are, completely forgetting who was in office when the sh*t hit the fan in the first place.

Love how that works.

That's probably a hangover of the Kennedy influence.................."the sins of the father shall visit for the third and fourth generation" Old Joe was arguably the corruptest thief in the country!
