Ya think? His popularity has been holding close to 42% for over 3 months! In politics that a fair chunk of support mid term.

Obama was higher in 2010 midterms and Obama lost.

It is the lack of civility I object to. Regardless of who it is. It is just not necessary to be crude and or talk about posters when there are so many great topics to discuss
Now back on topic..;-)

If "purging the swamp" can be interpreted to mean getting rid of ineffective laws etc.. and decrease bureaucratic entanglements ......GREAT !!
It means getting rid of corruption.

You don’t read sarcasm?

Not only corruption, of which there is planty in any government but also eliminating rules that are in place soly to ensure continued employment for bureaucraps.
The surest way to make more money , is to supervise more employees .

Like clean water and universities whose students actually get employed after graduation? You think scientists and educators actually want the legislation so they can have jobs? That is dishonorable relativism. GOP try and put negative intentions on liberals. Good luck with that. People are mostly good. How do you feel about legal abortion being legislated against?

Universities offer a wide variety of courses. SOme lead to good jobs, others don't. Of course government employees want their jobs protected by useless laws. Teachers especially. Have you been hiding under a rock all your life?
There is no abortion law in Canada.

There is absolutely no reason for most government financed services to be provided by government employees.

Are you for safe and rare abortion? Or will you say nothing because conservatives are planning on microtargeting the abortion issue during the election (wedging it both ways depending on the person's facebook you are targetting).

Students who take women's studies get jobs in lots of places. I'm all for making sure that someone who studies the liberal arts gets a job. Teaches you how to think. Which is why you don't like it. Or your conservative leaders don't want it because then people vote their economic self interest and vote to increase social capital.

Some things the market fails at. Like mail to rural areas. Would be too expensive if there was no national government mail service. I'm not saying that the kiosks for Canada post cannot be private. But in some ways, like health care, the private market fails. You like healthcare Don't You?

You don’t really want people to think , most thinking people understand that abortion is not a good thing .

I said rare. Like how Obama increased birth control and the teen pregnancy rate went down and then republicans got into power and are trying to stop birth control. Because they need abortions to be an open wound since it is a wedge issue for them.

"SNIP.....

3 ways Obamacare changed birth control

By Sam Petulla, CNN*

Updated 3:51 PM EDT, Sat October 07, 2017

Story highlights

The number of women with out-of-pocket expenditures on contraceptives has dropped from 21% pre-Obamacare to 3%Oral contraceptive pills account for 63% of the overall drop in average out-of-pocket spending on retail drugs since 2012

(CNN)The Trump administration*issued a rule Friday*that makes it easier for more employers and organizations to drop coverage of contraceptive services from health insurance plans for religious reasons. Critics say that it is possible hundreds of employers could take advantage of the rule.

The rule comes after the administration issued an*executive order in May*calling for "regulatory relief" to organizations that object on religious grounds to Obamacare coverage requirements for certain health services, including contraception. The administration has argued Obamacare does not offer adequate workarounds for religious organizations.

The Obama administration made contraceptives a required preventive health service for women. This meant that they would require zero co-payment for services and their costs would not add to deductibles.

Snip away, but it’s all bullshit.

Please tells us where in the US women can’t get birth control.
