Yeah, I was reading about Trump's latest antic; getting rid of anyone loyal to the country and loyal to him only. He throws a tantrum at anyone telling him stuff he doesn't like and gets rid of them soon after. That doesn't bode well for the country. Iran's Rouhani and Khamenei, NoKo's Kim, and Russia's Putin must be dancing on their desks.
Trump is running an autocratic regime that resembles the Mafia . HE makes the decisions.........and treats the democratic process with disdain. He wants to be part of the Dictators of the world Club.Some folks actually 'see' it.......some are shutting their eyes to it as it is too unpleasant. and concerning ........and some support that style Trump is a master manipulator..........in a sociopathic way. All that matters is HIM..........and loyalty to HIM... The country hardly factors in.........as everything he does is for him.......directly or indirectly............and HE wants continuous praise for it. The USG is now beyond recognition now. What is concerning too....is he is OBVIOUSLY getting more and more emboldened.After his so called acquittal........he is feeling extra empowered...........so we will see more nassty management style He has a very short fuse.......and that mes him totally UNFIT for the job.

And they're fighting back with a vengeance because they don't want to lose access to big money. That's why Trump needs to stay for another 4 years because even with that, he won't be able to get rid of all the deadwood - another Trump-like figure needs to run for the Republicans in 2024 so they can continue the clean-up. I'm not very hopeful tho' I must admit - unless someone we don't know about steps up in the next few years who can continue with the drain.

Question TB - I've seen a few references to 'kingship' and 'monarchy' in connection with Trump over the last week or so. Given Trump's lack of mental skills, do you think he's actually working towards making himself some sort of Monarch type figure?

Really , weren’t they saying the same about Obama , yet we saw a fairly peaceful transition of power . I expect we will see the same after Trump’s two terms are finished .
"Dictator" would be a better term. "Monarchy" implies hereditary, and aside from wanting to commit incest with Ivanka, Trump's never shown much interest in his kids.
But no, he's not. Once again, you're attributing a grand scheme to a man who is mentally and emotionally incapable of devising a grand scheme. He's Archie Bunker with money and power. He wants whatever pops into his head at the moment, and of course always, always to be the center of attention. He loves flattery and attention, and hates anything unfamiliar to him, and always, above all, anything that draws attention away from him.
Sadly, the only thing saving the U.S. is the fact that the man has the mind of a six-year-old and the emotions of a two-year-old. If he were like Putin or Xi, he'd already be a dictator, as Putin and Xi are.
