FACT: FOR THE MOST PART - Conservatives are a happier bunch of people, better adjusted, principled, creative, entrepreneurial and have more common sense than anyone from the Liberals or Leftist sides of the political spectrum now-a-days. It didn't used to be this way at all. Most times in the past, didn't matter if you were a Libera, NDP or Conservative, things were discussed rationally and mostly compromises were made; there was no name-calling, dirty tricks and ethical violations were few. That's hardly the case now, especially coming from the Left side of the spectrum. Conservatives have their issues as well but most of todays problems are a result of the Leftists using misinformation, misdirection and lies (i.e. corruption - see Trudeaus ethics violations and Biden's corruption with absolutely no consequence) to ensure they either get or retain power. Power is the most important thing to them - power and money. Conservatives tend to want to make things good for everyone and strive to or at least try to be a government for all.
The issue is that current Liberals and/or Leftists refuse to accept the fact that there are two or more ways of looking at things, of different perspectives and that compromise is possible in almost every situation. They refuse to accept that there are multiple opinions that people have and are entitled to express; no one deserves to be censured but of course, that's exactly how tyrants rule over the population and get and/or retain power.
Unfortunately, Liberalism has gone by the way-side and it's mostly the extreme Left that are bullying their way into power. Socialism is evil - period. Our kids have been brainwashed into believing we are horrible, corrupt, bigoted, racist countries that, apparently haven't evolved whatsoever. It may well be too late to stop what is happening. We've had it too easy for too long; we didn't and don't teach our kids responsibility anymore because when something happens, it's always someone else's fault. There are no losers - everyone is a winner (until real life hits and then it's "where's my safe space?"). We got too lazy and weren't paying attention.
Now that the Dems have won down south (UGH!) then Trudeau will take a page from their book and ensure that some of their crazy policies are implemented here in Canada. Afterall in both 2015 and 2019 he was using Democrat personnel from the States to assist with his elections and he is already talking about a "green new deal" and monitoring the internet for god knows what because perception is in the eye of the beholder and of course we already know that oil & natural gas is going down the tubes even tho' our economy and society as a whole desperately needs it to fuel power & heat. But no, apparently solar panels and windmills are going to be used instead - brown/blackouts here we come and lets freeze in the winter not only because we won't have heat but because we won't be able to afford to pay the bills.
Good way to reduce the population you say? I would never have thought of that! Must have been why Cumumo in New York decided to send Covid patients to nursing homes - if nothing clears them out, the virus will. (He should be shot BTW)!!
Anyhoo, can't wait to see what happens in the future.
