America can't afford the military spending anymore. There will be huge riots if military spending continues. Yesterday alone, they arrested hundreds who were protesting. Usually they arrest a few leaders, but not everybody in sight. NSA and surveillance and anti-terror legislation is all about what is on the horizon as the U.S. economy collapses.
The meeting with Putin is to give him a heads up about America pulling troops out of Europe, South Korea and the Middle East. The U.S. needs some understanding with Russia/China as to what will be the new world order.
There is no more need for huge investments in large ships and whatever. It will all be in missile technology.
The major foreign policy adventure is going to be with the Israel/Palestinian conflict. America will force the Palestinians to move into Egypt and Jordan and give up all territorial claims. America will agree to spend 100 billion in Palestinian aid to facilitate this change of circumstance.
America will walk away from all United Nations protocols such as the WTO. The U.S. created and controlled these institutions because it was the world financial power. But not now ..... China has the right to demand changes. (Market Economy to State Economy). It was America who set the terms for copyright and intellectual property rights, but no more.

The world’s two biggest economies are on the brink of a costly standoff. The US has announced tariffs of 25% on a swathe of Chinese goods, starting July 6th. China has vowed to respond in kind. ‘If someone wants a trade war,’ China’s Commerce Minister said, ‘we will fight to the end.’ President Trump is bullish, threatening further tariffs and tweeting: ‘trade wars are good, and easy to win.’ But the WTO has warned that a trade war would have a ‘severe’ impact on the global economy.
