It is not a question of what he has to gain. It is a question of what transpired as per intelligence info........and holding the responsible accountable. It is NOT right for another nation to interfere in another election process........regardless of which country it is and who is running. Elections are a countries unique protocol........and at the very least it is illegal for another nation to even consider tampering with the process. If Russia gets away with affecting the US elections........ what will it do next?? It also makes the electoral process highly suspect now.

If Trump and his gang did nothing to encourage Russia to assist him win.......then he has nothing to worry a bout and should simply let the investigation run its full course and come to a conclusion. He should NEVER interfere with the investigation as it is not his business. But he acts like he is guilty........of something........and would have no problem aborting the investigation........ if he did not get a lot of opposition to it. That would be obstruction of justice and make him look even guiltier.

That is something that has been going on for centuries.Thw USBritain, France all try to influence Canadian elections.

Yes. D Trump Jr. (the prez son) .......He apparently is tweeting his response to all this wikileaks stuff. Wikileaks (Assange) actually tweeted to CNN in real time this afternoon. This should all be on CNN site. Also others.

Quite captivating..

How much time and money do you want to spend on something where the outcome isn't certain? Even if they come up with answers are they going to be up to the level of proof required in a court of law? I still say "let sleeping dogs lie"! :)

Pence is the first to throw Donny Jr under the bus.

“The Vice President was never aware of anyone associated with the campaign being in contact with Wikileaks,” said Pence’s press secretary, Alyssa Farah, in a statement. “He first learned of this news from a published report earlier tonight.”

OMG what a bunch of liars.

Everybody in the campaign knew about it.

Using that idiotic logic, why spend money investigating any crime?

Murder? Well, we're not sure we can find the killer so why spend resources. Let sleeping dogs lie.

Bank robbery? Well, were not sure we can find the culprit so let's let sleeping dogs lie and save the taxpayers.

Do you spend any time at all thinking about your posts?

Wait. . . you're saying research and invention isn't worth doing? And using a computer to do it?

Cannuck already covered criminal investigation. "Well, if he's not caught in the act, there's no use investigating, because the outcome isn't certain."

Fearing Trump, Congress Holds First Hearing in Decades on President's Nuclear Authority

https://www.commondreams.org/news/2...g in Decades on President's Nuclear Authority

and rightly so. This is being reported on various news outlets.

It still baffles that this unstable, unqualified person was elected in the first place.

Now he is back obsessing about Hilary. Didn't he WIN?? and BTW: Hillary was right........Trump does not have the temperament to bePrez. Yet his deluded supporters would justify his behavior if he started a NUKE war .......as a preemptive strike.

can't they see that it would hurt them as much if not more than the target of the bomb.??

His stupid verbal pro ovation of NK and anyone he has an issue with is a clear sign of his insatiability. (amongst others)

and this does not even cover his sexual perversions. that HE bragged about.

The Republican National Committee is pulling its support for Alabama Senate nominee Roy Moore over allegations of child sexual abuse, Politico reports. The committee had a joint fundraising agreement with Moore, which it is now terminating, and it will not contribute additional funds or canvas on his behalf.

Sen. Paul plans amendment to gut Obamacare in tax bill, testing GOP unity

Sen. Rand Paul (R-Ky.) said Tuesday he plans to offer an amendment to Senate Republicans' fast-moving tax bill that would repeal the Affordable Care Act's individual mandate to buy insurance, posing a test for Republicans as they try to secure a major legislative victory.

Report: NATO Ally Raised ‘Concerns’ About Trump’s Access to Nukes

https://www.thedailybeast.com/report-nato-ally-raised-concerns-about-trumps-access-to-nukes

Trumps mental stability is being questioned by his own party members. (as well)

On the basis of him being too erratic , impulsive , quixotic (immature) and emotional .....(as has been evidenced on his Twitter rants.

There is concern on both sides of the isle.

So the question is: are there enough checks to prevent an erratic decision on Trumps part to Nuke someone.

The realityis that Trump's (personal)self discipline is highly questionable. (as everyone has seen)
