They are playing the political game yet, Gov. can ram it through if they really wanted to
Is there eminent domain in Canada?
Canada. In Canada, expropriation is governed by federal or provincial statutes. Under these statutory regimes, public authorities have the right to acquire private property for public purposes, so long as the acquisition is approved by the appropriate government body.

It's well within the powers of the NEB or simply calling TMPL a Crown Corporation.

Done deal but the crying.

There must be, because no farmer around these parts can stop the pipeline or the hydro from crossing on their property!

The Prime Minister has nothing to do with pipelines.
The court just proved that.
Get the First Nations approval and the scientific evidence and its smooth sailing,
The First Nations that count are on board with pipelines. In fact they are well on their way to building one to Pr. Rupert. Best part is no one can stop them without being called racist.

It's as if you were all incapable of understanding what socially acceptable means.
How are you going to allow a pipeline when it will cost you your job in politics?
Horgan would be dead in the water is he were to allow the trans mountain. SO would any other premier.
Horgan is about to split his party in two. The big construction unions that have traditionally been the dipper base are about to take their votes elsewhere because Horgan is killing our jobs.

Yes there is Sask. Transgas has to use it quite often for hold outs on a couple of 1/4's on ROW's, especially close to the NEB controlled Enbridge and TCPL corridors where they over pay for damages.Regina by-pass used it, Saskpower started putting their poles on the edge of road allowances due to the many court orders needed to go on private property to replace their lines, also makes more sense for maintenance and vegetation control. Man. had to use it for their Bipolar Hydro lines for a few hold outs. It is a tool available to the feds for National interest, but hey don't like using it for the reason of political suicide, grow a pair and get this country pointed into the right direction IMO

BC has the lowest unemployment in Canada.

Everything is booming and you can't get construction workers a in Victoria. I believe they have just waived all the rules regrading trades people immigrating.

You are, as usual, completely detached from reality.

Trudeau actually does have something to do with it. He was one of the numb-nut proponents of "social licence/social contract. Looks like he learned that the courts won't cater to his whims or kowtow to him. But hey, at least between what's not making it to port and the shit we import to the East Coast, Canada is only losing around a measly $100 million/day.

Don't hold your breath...tanker bans aren't racist. Trudeau and Butts have all their anti-oil bases covered.

A pipeline won't do a bit of good if there's no boat at the end of the line.

Natives are looking to build their terminal in Alaska to defy the ban.

How come cruise ships aren't a threat to the orca?

Because tourists buy genuine made in China Native art by the arm full?

If we're talking about the Eagle Spirit Pipeline, then no, the plan is to terminate it at Grassy Point, BC, just South of Prince Rupert.

First Nations coalition calls for rejection of Trudeau tanker ban

Calvin Helin, CEO of Eagle Spirit Energy Holding, heads the coalition, which has sketched out plans to build a roughly $18-billion oil pipeline from northern Alberta to around Prince Rupert, B.C.

Helin, a Lax Kw’alaams Band member, has long pitched the idea as Canada’s sole First Nations-led oil pipeline. Helin said C-48 is a matter of “enormous concern” for the roughly 200 First Nations communities represented by the coalition, and said Prime Minister Justin Trudeau’s tanker ban explicitly targets the project, effectively stripping Indigenous people of their economic self-determination.

Except in the North BC is not booming. The construction is all residential being sold to rich outsiders. As usual you have no clue what your C&P are about.

Also residential construction pays shit wages. We make more in a week than most construction workers in town make in a month. Plus pension.

Trudeau is a thong wearing closet faggot..

Bailed out Bombardier who gave thier CEO’s a nice payout before cutting a shitload of jobs.

Waived over a billion in tax dollars to Chrysler

Spent 1.1 billion on this terroist refugees pouring in from the USA to collect welfare and push out more brats.

The trust fund baby Trudeau spends money like he never had a job in his life and money grows on trees..

He has bankrupt Canada’s future, and put every Canadian $250,000 dollars in more debt.

The ****er needs to be hit with a bus.. hopefully MHz will be holding his hand at the time it happens..

The 2 Muzzie lovers can then be buried in beacon grease afterwards ;)
