He is referring to right wing in the social sense not economic. Right left is a poor choice of wording since many of us are fiscal conservatives but social liberals.

One is no longer with the party.
One was not confused, merely curious about the consequences for going against the whip (which have not been revealed yet)
And the last one accepted that he would have to vote in favour of abortion even if he held the opposite belief.

Sound bites are not exactly the place for fully fleshed out legal opinions.
The fact is that the Supreme Court has struck down every limitation on a woman's right to an abortion that has come before it.
Obviously their position could be challenged if the government decided to try to implement a law, but the Liberal Party has decided that as a party, they are not going to be the ones to do that.

Haha, was actually just doing a search in this thread to see if anyone had brought up the North Korea thing. That is my favorite argument.
In Canada, you simply can't find a doctor willing to perform an abortion after 24 months, and it is very very rare to be able to get one after 20 months.
We don't need politicians to make specific laws for every medical procedure. They are all covered under existing laws and rules regarding proper medical practice. Just because we don't have a law specifically saying that you can't perform a gastric bypass surgery on a two year old doesn't mean that a doctor could do that without facing severe consequences.
